So Comey does have evidence of Russian ties to Trump? Where is this evidence?
So the suspicions aren't worthy of diligent process? Republicans certainly thought differently once upon a time. No harm in letting this unfold if your guy is innocent. Don't you think he can take the scrutiny?

Holy fuck it's not about rigging it's about influencing the election. Do you not understand that? Can you acknowledge that in any way?

No. Because influence is immeasurable and constant. A kid in japan influenced the election by posting a joke about Clinton.

Literally every thing in existence can influence the election. Rain might discourage someone from going out to vote- OMG, climate is influencing the election. Netflix releasing a new show might cause some people to sit at home and watch it instead of voting- OMG, influence!

If the election isn't rigged, who cares? If you go by the vaguest terms, I'd agree 100% that Russia influenced the election. For example, if Russia didn't exist than Hillary couldn't have made idiotic statements pushing towards a no-fly zone over Russian airspace, that could have helped her campaign. Merely by existing on the same planet as us, Russia "influences" the election. This is true for every election ever. Who cares?

You don't seem to understand- the FBI has a job to do. You can't just compromise the entire mission of the organization by leaving someone in charge who is corrupt. The FBI working effectively is of the highest important. The investigation, useless as it is, can continue regardless- without Comey.

When a foreign government uses false news sites, hacking, timed release of data etc... to influence the election for a particular candidate they choose EVERYONE should care. If the people from that campaign coordinate with that foreign entity to do those things everyone should care. If US "media" outlets were a part of the strategy to disseminate the false information and spread it to the masses everyone should care.

With someone appointed to head up the organization by a possibly treasonous president. Take your logic to its natural conclusion rather than a place of party-above-all conclusion. Try it... I bet you'll feel like a well rounded human being for it. You must want to have such an experience. Am I right?

There is some seriously wacky shit going down at the Senate Intelligence Committee today. In the middle of it they called a special private session that brought in Boente and Rosenstein.

Scratch the twitter acct...that was debunked.

you are hopelessly ignorant, rigging an election is not the same as Russian hacking and influencing our election, they are two completely different things.

maybe that is too complicated for you?

You are much dumber than you think, apparently.

rig- To manipulate something dishonestly for personal gain or discriminatory purposes.

manipulate- influence or control shrewdly or deviously

So the literal definition of rig is to influence something dishonestly.

The only tangible difference is that rig implies personal gain or dishonesty.

So either they do actually mean the same thing in this context, or some idiots think incidental "influence" for no personal gain or advantage is somehow a problem.

I'm glad you said it. Do you honestly think an Obama appointed FBI director is ever going to seriously pursue charges against Hilary or Obama? Of course not. That is why Trump needs to appoint someone new.

I'm glad you could come to that conclusion, swallow the red pill my friend.

See, that would be rigging. Influence for personal gain is the dictionary definition of rigging.

Obama said our election can't be rigged, so we are fine. Nothing to worry about here.

What I find so amazing is your delusion that you believe you are somehow winning this argument or making salient points. It's embarrassing and I hope for your sake this is a troll account.

Because I trust Obama in this one case, if nothing else. He said you can't rig the election, so it can't be done. Not by Clinton, not by Trump, not by Russians.

So do you agree? Or are you calling the first African american president a liar? Are you racist?

Are you seriously this dumb? Obama was talking about rigging the vote totals, not interfering in the election in the ways under investigation now. Color me totally unsurprised that you believe Obama as soon as you think he's telling you what you want to hear though, that's pretty funny.

So now that we've established you don't even know what's under investigation, why are you so desperate to stop it?

As emperus said: Trump just admitted that he was going to fire Comey regardless of the recommendation.

So yeah, the Clinton aspect was just a pretext at best. This was a freak-out over the Russia investigation.

Obama said our election can't be rigged, so we are fine. Nothing to worry about here.

Obama's statement was in response a question about this claim by Trump:

It very clearly indicates rigging voting totals, not propaganda.

Here is the question:

QUESTION: Thank you, Mr. President. I would like to ask you about the election. Donald Trump is telling his supporters that the election is rigged and asking them to monitor certain areas on Election Day.

...
Are you worried the results of the election may be distrusted?

Your gif appears to modestly misquote Obama, but that doesn't matter. He was clearly talking about rigging election machines and vote totals, not propaganda.

You can read his entire response here:
http://time.com/4535623/president-obama-donald-trump-stop-whining-transcript/

So earlier you asked for a case of when you have lied, well here's one right now. What you said earlier was a lie, will you admit it or double down on this lie?
