"Peaceful" protestors would have left without having to have tear gas canisters and rubber bullets fired at them. A think lot of those people in that crowd wanted their 15 seconds of fame on CNN and they got it.
That said, I think that it was unnecessary. That doesn't mean that I'm going to overreact and start calling Trump a Nazi like a lot of people here are.

They were using crowd control techniques with them. Flying at 40 ft, causing branches to break off of some trees. That's not surveillance.That's bullshit. Just because they were flying around doesn't mean they were willing to fire.
