Maybe Trump is playing his part of deliberately acting a certain way? It looks really weird. I don't believe that such a well connected man who is supposedly a billionaire can "truly" act, talk or think this way. But whatever it is, the American people are focused on him and the American mass media makes sure they are.

People who hate Trump hate him because he is so much better at pretending he's the greatest in comparison to their own more shamed approaches. He is an ego shield of enormous capacity that people seek shelter behind or are so enraged by they have to tear it down. A lot of the ego damage these people experience comes from the contempt of Democrats whose egos have been similarly damaged because more modest people with maybe less intellectual leanings, see democrats as arrogant assholes.
