You should realize that those statements that Trump made in 2016 about his intention to make sure that security information was fully protected was just him reading from a teleprompter. He did not write that stuff. It's entirely above his level. Read any of it. He has never been capable of writing things like that. DJT's just the head of the snake. Just finished reading the indictment. Trump is in bigger trouble than I thought. Told his lawyer to lie to the fbi and say he produced all the docs. Then when the lawyer refused, lied to the lawyer and told him he had handed them.all over. Then told his staff to hide docs from the lawyer and the fbi. They put docs in his shower and bedroom, and in areas which were trafficked by both staff and guests. Also verified, there were nuclear secrets, among other highly sensitive material.
This obstruction stuff is key here. Possibly more important than the underlying crimes. It’s why I see him going down for five years. The question is, when will the trial take place relative to next year’s election?

They should ask for her recusal. If she refuses, she may bend over backwards to prove she isn’t biased.
The way I see it, this is a rock solid case on the evidence. I doubt a biased judge will derail it. My main concern is the trial date. In CA state court trial dates are set in the master calendar department. But in federal court, my experience was that the trial judge set the date. Trump will try to run out the clock. I’m worried she may let him do it.

It's almost genius, I mean why would the FBI think to check a shower for classified documents? I think what most impresses me, he knew the FBI would be paying him a visit and he didn't even attempt to get rid of the documents. "go put some boxes in the guest bathroom, that should be fine" That shows a lot of stupidity or no fear of anything happening when they find them. Or both.
