I think the Republican Party in its current form is a threat to democracy and I think DeSantis is a horrible human being who would do horrible things as president. I think if he lost though he would not attempt a coup like Trump did.

That's pure fantasy that Trumpie will be detained. A decently competent and unbiased trial judge would impose a fairly rigid order muzzling him-but the judge currently assigned to this case will do nothing other than to give Trumpie as long a (first of many) extension that he requests.When Trump is arraigned on Tuesday and likely detained, he will not be allowed to hold on to his electronics. So he will essentially be muzzled. No more Truth Social posts (unless others do it for him).
