What on earth are you talking about? It was huge news when it happened - the reason it's not at the top of people's minds right now is that there haven't been significant developments for a while. Once there are it will be back at the top.

You also didn't need to read all 50 pages to know and understand the central charge here - you could have just read the article containing the full indictment, which you also apparently did not do:

From the article:

See how easy that was? Now you know the relevant things you need to know!
I’ll be back keep hoping he’s held accountable. Have a good time doing that.
Remember when they go low we go high.

It's kind of funny to be like 'nobody knows anything about this' and then follow that up with 'and I refuse to know anything about this', haha.

Regardless I don't think either is accurate. I think the central charge is quite widely known - that Trump was keeping and hiding highly classified information that he wasn't allowed to have.
No - that is not why he was charged and that is his talking point comparing himself to others. The PROBLEM is that he refused to return documents when they were requested and went to extreme to prevent them from being returned. This is what sep him from other ex presidents and why he was charged.

Yes, which is what I said - keeping and hiding them.

Never loan anything to this man.

In 2019, Israel loaned a selection of national treasures to the U.S., including ancient ceramic candles, for a Hannukah celebration at the White House, which was then occupied by Trump. The artifacts were only meant to be kept for a few weeks but remained in the United States as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and apparently ended up at Trump's Florida resort, according to the report.

Think about it - if he had actually hid them would he be in such trouble The problem is he showed them to whatever jack and jill wanted to see them. After all he had to brag that he had them....

Yea i know - and that was part of the reason he was charged - i'm just being difficult - sorry. Anyway I am interested in where he will be tried for Jan 6. Soon he will be spending every day in court between all the legal stuff - I think there are 3 in ny, soon 1 in nj, one in fl, soon one in ga - lets hope there are a few more. Even if the republican nominate him they should find another candidate i mean he might be electable by the republicans who have no respect for the law - but nation-wide chances are very low. I know for jan 6 stuff he will claim 'first they cheated me and now they are going to jail me for objecting (or pointing out i was cheated).

Hearing over. DOJ pushing back that he’s a normal citizen now and doesn’t deserve any delays. Defence got pushback that they can’t delay until after election. Judge asked for timeline for them to at least finish reviewing all case files. They estimate November. But she also didn’t accept Dec date. Too compressed for complicated case.

Cannon's first questionable delay, so far, in this case.

"This is a bad call by Cannon! The DOJ attempted to confer with defense counsel and didn't hear back from them. This is on defense counsel, not DOJ. Cannon should hold defense counsels' feet to the fire [fire emoji], and not delay CIPA proceedings because of the BS gamesmanship," MSNBC legal analyst Katie Phang wrote on Twitter, calling it "another assist by Cannon that unnecessarily delays the proceedings."

Former federal prosecutor Brandon Van Grack, who served on special counsel Bob Mueller's team, said it was "very odd to deny the motion" instead of "requiring defense counsel to articulate objections."

"On Monday, DOJ explained it had reached out to defense counsel on Friday, who did not wish to confer that day or over the weekend. Defense counsel cant get classified docs w/o a protective order," he wrote on Twitter Wednesday.

Trump lawers want the case delayed, because he has too many indictments and cases he's having to face.

Well, alrighty then. Everyone agrees having too many lawsuits is a perfectly legitimate reason to delay one of the trials. Who here isn't facing a dozen lawsuits?

I actually agree with him about the other criminal trials - a defendant is generally required to be in court during a criminal trial and so there will need to be coordination between New York, the Feds, and likely Georgia as to their schedules.

As far as the ‘I’m too busy campaigning’ argument that’s meaningless. That’s no more of an excuse than saying you have to go to work.

Maybe he should focus on his legal troubles and not run. Oh, I forgot, that's why he's running. To stay out of jail.

I agree that a defendant has the right to time so that they can prepare an adequate defense. But we all know that this is 100% a delaying tactic. His hope is to win reelection and to use the office of the POTUS to quash court proceedings against him. He's not asking for an extra month or two, he's asking for a whole extra year.

Or maybe just attack Jack?

Ex-Overstock CEO Claims to Have Damning Video of 'Naughty' Jack Smith

The former CEO, Patrick Byrne, testified in front of the January 6 Committee last year regarding the 2020 election.
Looool. He is still simping for that Russian spy *censored* Maria Butina. What a sad pitiful existence.

It sounds a little like blackmail doesnt it? He doesnt want to get indicted.

edit : A little digging around :

So article from 2021-9 and read this bit

"Insider can reveal that Butina has not severed all her connections with the US. She has received large sums of money in the last year from Patrick Byrne, 59, the former CEO of online furniture retailer Overstock.com and Donald Trump supporter and conspiracy theorist."

Butina was deported Oktober 2019, which means that Patrik Byrne kept paying her *after* she returned to Russia. Man Russian Pussy must be a special kind of crazy. Or Byrne just that stupid. Yet confirmed 100% certified SIMP.

What _hasn't_ he got stashed away there?

He's got the Holy Grail and the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Ark of the Covenant in there as well, hasn't he? Martin Borman is probably hiding in the basement. Suprised they didn't find this guy in there
