People who say he will not see jail time could well be right as it is uncommon for first time convictions. That being said, there are major aggravating factors here that could lead to jail time. Namely that he has a well established court record of fraud, so in many ways he is not a first time offender.

So I'm not a super intellectual when it comes to the court system. But 12 jurors found him guilty, how does he expect people to believe the NY court is corrupt? Aside from MAGAs, because 99.9% of them will never under any circumstance think he's guilty of anything. Who's he trying to convince here? And a billionaire begging for donations to fight a rightful guilty verdict? lol I know court cases like this cost $$$$$. But if he was a billionaire like he loves to brags about, it should be pocket change for him. I wonder if he believes an appeal will make 31 charges turn to innocent.
