Because he was insecure about if it would work or not

Insecure about that, but not about everything else? I'm sorry, but I don't think that makes much sense. Logically if insecurity was the main driver of his behaviour, then Cohen's office would have had to have been reorganised and staffed to do a ginormous amount of payouts for all the shit he'd done over the years that he didn't want to be made more public.

It's totally true. He made a huge error when he decided to suppress Daniels' potential allegations before the 2016 election. He could have just said she was lying, going for a book deal and such and most of his supporters wouldn't have jumped off the tram. Instead he created a mine field for himself. On top of that, it appears to me that what got him was his means of reimbursing Cohen. Why oh why did he try to use campaign finance money to do that? Why didn't he just give Cohen a $130,000 bonus and say "good boy!?" Maybe there's a reason, but I don't know of any. He got tangled in his own web.

My conclusion is that he couldn't afford to pay it himself, or perhaps relative to his mire of shady business practices, taking it out of campaign finances was the most logical thing to do as it was after all a campaign-related expense.

He did actually use his own money to pay her off, at least insofar as he reimbursed Cohen. The crime here was that he would have had to report it as a campaign contribution, which he didn't want to do as that would expose the affair.

Also, the level of denial here is pretty funny. He's not going to be acquitted, if anything plenty more felony convictions are coming.
And performances like today will weigh upon the sentencing decision. Donnie, you really should be on your best behavior, but we all know you are just an impulsive child and will not comply. Funny, I thought you were supposed to comply.

lol the Trumpkins are totally melting down. I had to double check but this is apparently not a parody. Lol.

As someone who lives on the east coast, what kind of moron willingly books a flight that that requires a transfer through a NY-area airport? Any time I need to take a flight that requires a connection (with originating flight in Boston), I immediately ignore any flights that go through a NY/NJ airport, just because those airports are particularly crowded and cascading delays are a real thing.

(The NY airports are perfectly fine and functional, and I've flown directly out of them many times; I'd just never want my connection to go through them)

Given the rule of projection Felix has once again confirmed he wears a smelly clown suit. So he is a criminal and has bad hygiene. Not shocking I guess given his posting history here.
And don't forget your trip to the dentist today. That bucktooth smile is not cute anymore. It's probably what's keeping people away from your taco stand at the state fair.🤷

As someone who lives in NYC I wish I could avoid our airports. I agree the internal facilities are fine but the security lines are insane (although this is a big reason I have precheck) and flights are CONSTANTLY delayed.

Still though, that post was so dumb I really thought it couldn't be real. So not only did he avoid NYC but his big manly friend did too, and then after being seated next to a hot blond chick decided to swap seats and then ink a $10 million+ deal while in flight.

/r/thathappened is calling.

I like JFK because it's less than 3 miles from me.

Still I don't love it because every overseas destination gives you free carts for your baggage and free wifi, but at JFK you gotta pay!

Ahh good old ignorant greenman and Felix moving the goalposts of their own stupidity down and out of the orange ball field into the neighboring stadium of dumb. I wonder what it would take for either of those clowns to admit they were wrong about their Orange God? I would assume nothing because his racist filth is their comfort zone as they are victim snowflakes. Sad. So bigly sad.

Um no. Trump is not presidential material and I will not be voting for him.

So now that Trump is a convicted felon do you think it’s time for conservatives to admit that liberals were right about him all along?
Wtf drivel is this. The vast majority of so called conservatives will double down. Have you been in a coma for four years?

Not sure what handlers of his allowed him to give that press conference but he looked very unwell and was even more rambling and incoherent than usual.
He is still stunned by how unfair Biden is to him to engineer this whole trial including the gag order. Meanwhile can someone wake up sleepy Joe and let him know he has some work to do? Guy does nothing all day and is completely unaware he is even president .

He should see some jail time... 6 months in jail. 10 years probation. 1000 hours of community service.
What did the community do to deserve this treatment?

What's with the up the ass camera shot in back? Looking for potential Republican replacement candidates?
The camera is there in case Felix, Greenman and PCgeek pop their heads out of Trumps ass and see their own shadows.

Yes. It is worth remembering that this came right on the tails of the Access Hollywood tape. His campaign was just getting rolling on spinning that when this came up. It would have made it much harder (which means more expensive) to spin the Access Hollywood tape with a porn star talking about how he cheated on his pregnant wife with her. At the time Trump was still getting the hang of campaigning, was courting the religious right, and was not sure how many hits of that nature he could take before he lost their devotion.
Now he knows better, he could have just admitted it and said, "who wouldn't do her? Look at her, and you know she is a porn star. I always hire the best professionals!" and his polling would have increased.

Not going to vote to stop him though, are ya?
Yup he and his ilk will repeat 2016 and declare they can’t be forced to choose between the only 2 feasible candidates and vote 3rd party to stick it to the man.

It's funny you use the word allow. Trump is always entitled. He submits to no one. This is the quality that the MAGA love. It's all he has.

To be fair, if enough Trump supporters do this, it'll mirror the angry Bernie bros that refused to vote for Hillary in 2016 (I knew a number of them, and they all claimed they were either not going to vote or write in "Bernie"). It's a half-vote win just like those were a half-vote loss for the Democrats.

It is true that the vast majority of so-called Conservatives will stand by Trump, but if a relatively small percent in certain states don't choose him, Biden cruises assuming nothing happens to *him* before the election.

Mushy middler a-political "independents" who the hell knows. They might vote based on gas prices after they filled up on the way to the polls, if they vote at all. Optimistically, having a convicted felon on the ballot might draw more attention than normal, not in a good way.

So the walls finally closed in.

Clearly he meant to say "right". You go ahead and have you're little moment in the sun, I'm fine with that.
Hmm make excuses for Trumps claiming they didn’t say what they said.

At the same time making a false accusation against Michele Obama claiming she said whitey.

Now we know why it is a cult
