This indictment and the following trial will be very much like bringing a mob boss to justice. Organized crime typically involves very boring stuff concerning money and finances and pay-offs and laundering and.... YAWN.... just a lot of legal boring stuff. And this will be much the same for Donald Trump with his trial.
Like with a mob boss on trial, the only public excitement is when the guy enters and leaves the courthouse. Same goes for Trump, the trial so boring and so much legal talk where the only excitement for MAGA and the media will be video of Trump arriving and leaving the scene.
And after a short while, we'll get pretty damn tired of watching this. And pretty damn tired of watching Trump's jet plane land and take off from LaGuardia.
As this continues the crowds will die down, the protestors lose interest, the barricades removed.
This trial will be hard to follow because it's boring, necessary ABSOLUTELY, but extremely boring. And in the end, Trump will be convicted by a jury and that jury is all that really matters. Not what MTG thinks, and not what Fox News thinks, and not what Lindsey Graham or Kevin McCarthy thinks.
As the world becomes boggled down in predictions and assumptions and more predictions, the jury will be quietly doing the real work with sending Donald Trump's ass up the river.
