To me the thing is I really hate how Trump basically ruined the country for everyone. It will take decades if ever for people to forget about what a fucking force of rottenness he is. My wife commented today about how we can't drive by a house and see an American flag flying without thinking it's some fucking Trumpanzee that lives there. I see a house with a Trump sign or someone wearing a Trump hat and I'm instantly blinded by prejudice because I think a fucking moron lives there or wears the hat. Even family members and casual friends I want nothing to do with if they support Trump. Maybe if they realized what a piece of shit he was after he was in office for a while and quit him I could associate with them again. But the refusal to admit he's nothing but a carnival barker and a detriment to the country so it affects me deep down that I realize I'll never want to associate with those people again. I don't sit and think about this constantly, but sometimes during the course of my day I feel saddened because it's not ever going to get better, and I've lost friends and family over it.
