I'm not sure if you've listened to him recently but he's gotten a lot worse than that. Now he frequently loses his train of thought entirely and just sort of trails off or he descends into nonsense words. He recently literally said this: “Gang, boom. This is me. I hear bing.”Same here. Reading his blather in transcripts--when he goes off prompter--is almost as bad. Maybe because my inner narrator is supplying his voice and mannerisms.
One one hand, his nonsense does indeed sound demented. However, I work with a guy from NYC who does a similar babbling (not as bad, he's a lot younger). Lots of "I don't know, maybe it's me, but..." babble babble. So some of it might be a NY thing. That guy doesn't say the lying stupid shit Trump does to be sure. I'm from "Git er done" Florida so I'm not about to throw any stones toward NY mannerisms...
I doubt they will seize his assets until after appeals are heard out. However, I could see them filing formal liens against all of his NY assets in the near term.
