While the potential seizures of Trump’s properties bring a small level of justice, the message that should not be lost in the circus is that Trump committed fraud, massive fraud. Every story about the seizures should begin with this statement. Trump is losing his properties because he cheated people and is a liar who can’t be trusted.

Oopsie, did he just really say that he has $500 Million in cash?

THROUGH HARD WORK, TALENT, AND LUCK, I CURRENTLY HAVE ALMOST FIVE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS IN CASH, A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF WHICH I INTENDED TO USE IN MY CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT. THE OFTEN OVERTURNED POLITICAL HACK JUDGE ON THE RIGGED AND CORRUPT A.G. CASE, WHERE I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG, KNEW THIS, WANTED TO TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME, AND THAT’S WHERE AND WHY HE CAME UP WITH THE SHOCKING NUMBER WHICH, COUPLED WITH HIS CRAZY INTEREST DEMAND, IS APPROXIMATELY $454,000,000. I DID NOTHING WRONG EXCEPT WIN AN ELECTION IN 2016 THAT I WASN’T EXPECTED TO WIN, DID EVEN BETTER IN 2020, AND NOW LEAD, BY A LOT, IN 2024.THIS IS COMMUNISM IN AMERICA!

Yes he did, today at 4:14 am

I hope he's as bitter and stressed out on the inside as he sounds in his rants. With any luck he'll keel over or have some kind of Tums reaction.

Sucks to engage in fraud and actually get caught and have to pay a price, just like all the little people. He's so arrogant that none of what he did had even a token element of guile about it.

Still, we'll see if he actually does pay anything, I'll believe it when it happens. He may get a huge payday from Truth Social going public I read today, though the article does say it might not be easily leveraged since most investors will believe it's overvalued (which is the understatement of the year).

Yeah maybe we’re underestimating his health. With the amount of stress he’s under, he really should have keeled over.

I mean it's ludicrously overvalued as an actual investment - I don't think it's being viewed as an actual investment though and is viewed more as a vehicle for people/foreign governments to bribe Trump.

It's essentially a failed Twitter clone with almost no users and almost no revenue.

I read that its current stock value is 3 billion dollars. Nuts. What a world the uber-rich (or uber-rich pretenders) live in. Loans, valuations and bilking the working poor, who then turn around and vote for them.

That valuation is not going to come from retail investors buying the stock (outside of a few dumbass super fans). It's coming from corruption.

I read that it has like $100M trading volume total. It’s all paper value. As soon as anyone tries to get a few tens of millions out of it the market cap will crater.

well, it's official, Truth Social is going public under the symbol DJT, as soon as next week...

the good news is...

"However the deal currently includes a lockout provision that prevents Trump from immediately selling or getting loans based on his shares"

Keep flapping those gums dumbass. Sure seems suddenly you now have the cash is not in your best interest.

Lying cheapskate till the end.
From the piece;

Former Watergate prosecutor Nick Akerman agreed that the post was “the dumbest thing he could have possibly done.”

“That is a direct admission by him that he has the money,” he told CNN in a clip flagged by Mediaite. “Now, keep in mind, even with this operating money or cash that he supposedly has, if he doesn’t pony up and put up a bond, Letitia James is going to be able to go in and basically put restraining orders on all of his bank accounts. Everything that relates to him and all of that money is going to be tied up and frozen. So if he’s really got that money, he’s got to put it up.”

It sounds like what's going to happen here is James is going to go after it and Trump will have to admit, again, that he's broke. lol.

He will just say not in these words but to this effect.

Didn't he already admit, rather testify (lie??) that he had $500 million in liquid assests at the beginning of the trial, while under oath?

I bet if James offered to reduce the amount he owes to $100 under the condition he holds a press conference and just admits he's broke. I doubt he could do it lol. And his cult still claims he has the 5x the money, but when Monday comes and he hasn't pay it. They still won't question him and what he said about having it.

If Trump sells his properties he has to pay taxes. If NYS takes them do they have to reduce taxes after the sale or is it considered at the full value?
