Given the circumstances, it's not so surprising. Should have had some financial penalty at the very least.

But it does make his avenues for appeal more difficult, given that he was trying to use his victory as a shield. Harder to show material harm that impacts his ability (also, lol that he really has any ability here) to run the office of the president.

Talk about lowering the bar as far as qualifications and fitness for office is concerned. Trump retaking the presidency after his lawless dictatorial performance during his first go must be in the same gasp as hilarious as well as being some really scary shit to behold to the other free democracies of the world.

Given how Trump won his first term with his sewage truck load of liabilities, of which any single glaring fault and deed of his would have sunk the hopes of any other candidate from the Democrat's side, it's no small wonder how his expanded use of racist hate, fear, suspicion and misogyny worked it's vile magic over the millions of low information voters that got suckered and distracted from the egregious damage he caused and the crimes he committed before, during and after his term in office.

Let's just hope that the various nations who restrict entry by felons in ordinary citizens have the stones to restrict entry to Trump since he's now a convicted felon. Not sure how Scotland and England view the ownership of golf clubs and alcohol licensing by felons...we can only hope that the consequences are at least foisted on him by other countries.

This sounds great to me, maybe somewhere like Scottland will take action against him. I hope they do and I hope he threatens them like he did the president of Mexico. It was awesome when she responded calling him a moron and basically telling him go f himself. While he will have a ton of power and full support from a lot people in power here, the rest of the world doesn't have much to fear so they won't cower down to him. I know a few other leaders have spoken out laughing at his bullying.

Would be awesome if Scottland put huge tariffs on his golf course.

I wouldn't say Biden is to blame at all. Somehow Trump has been getting away with illegal shit for many decades. Even if you believe justice is different for rich people. He's still seems to be able to do more shit than a normal rich person. What I know he's done would be enough for any normal American to be in prison for a long time. I can't even fathom the number of things he's done nobody will ever know about.

I blame the US population for stupidity, and while I know this isn't Trump's doing. It's a sign that when he gets sworn into office in about a week that eggs will be about as expensive as they've ever been. There's irony in the fact a lot of the non MAGAs who voted for him specifically mentioned how much eggs cost being a big factor lol. I was at Aldi's the other day and they were $6 a dozen... at ALDIS. And even knowing he's not the reason, I sure as fuck will still bitch to every MAGA I come across about egg prices after he's sworn in until they come back down.

It's like we're getting a sneak preview of how inflation is coming with all his nonsense.

Seemingly, none of the laws apply to him. He wasn't supposed to be able to vote but I read that idiot Desantis made some sort of exception for him so he could vote in Florida.

I follow laws, even small shit like I don't make u-turns where it says no u turns. I try to be a decent human yet I still encounter shit and struggle. Trump does whatever the fuck he wants and continues to skate along effortlessly. He should be locked up, but he still whines and bitches about how unfair the justice system is when it comes to him. He's a felon, but without any of actual shit that comes with being a felon
