So continuing Obamas strategy?
Essentially, which I have no problem with. I'm all for droning and air superiority. Once costs come down we'll have drone/robot armies that can conduct urban warfare instead of our troops. My only beef with obama are the cuts to the defense budget as of late, they need a little more money. That's where Trump comes in.

Endless wars was Bush's strategy, furthered by Obama, and will be expanded by Clinton!

Trump is actually better of foreign policy than Clinton!

By continuing the same exact policies? Are you really this stupid? In what ways would it be better?

For being a super smart alpha you sure say some stupid shit! For example, you do realize that it's congress that sets the budget, right?

You are so uniformed.....

Trump's policy is to get out of the endless wars!

Hell, even if he continued it, that's still better than Hillary expanding it! At least, it's a rep making stupid decisions!

The president still can propose and veto/sign it. The WH has the political capital to spend in the process, whether it's effective or not remains to be seen.

I do not see why pulling back from being the worlds police on our dime is stupid foreign policy. I think we should pull back and let other countries cut thier own social programs to fund thier own protection.

Yep, Japan is scared but it's not like we aren't going to help in a conflict. They're just not going to have the weaponry on site anymore.

His policy is to murder the families of terrorists.

Hooray for ending the endless wars!

Conflict with who? The boogeyman? Japan is fine...

About 99% sure that is just pandering to his base.

Our mere presence there is creating terrorists, and killing civilians just makes it far worse.

Paraphrasing: We're gonna make the military so big no one will want to mess with us.
Yeah, that's what I remember hearing. So what's with this pull back from being the world's police coming from the resident Trumpbots?

That's how Trump would save some money, stop defending countries who don't want to play ball with us economically like TPP.
On TPP, however, they worry that Mr Trump's rhetoric will make it hard for Congress to ratify the deal, whoever wins. As well as the direct benefits from greater trade, the Abe administration regards TPP as one of its best tools for forcing the Japanese economy to reform in areas such as agriculture.

Not seeing much of a difference between the other candidates other than they are the most Pro Choice and Anti-Amnesty.
Pretty much. The Pro Choice one really stands out. Reps should take note of that and start accepting the realities of modern society. It shows that you really can have a moderate Rep candidate who doesn't pander to the neocon, Christian base.

Nah it has nothing to do with modern society, it will always will be a state issue outside of Roe v. Wade. Trump just has to say he's pro-life but will maintain that it's primarily up to the state. Nothing more needs to be said on the matter for him to get the evangelical and pro-choice vote because we are currently legally pro-choice anyway.

It's called air superiority and drones. No troops are getting put in harm's way. Plus he can't just order them to bomb bomb bomb without checks. This isn't TV.

Trump has called for tens of thousands of ground troops in Iraq and Syria.

I know you're thinking that nobody would say something so dumb, but that's your man. Lol.

That may have been true at one point in time but at this point congress has basically ceded away its power here such that the president in fact can
bomb bomb bomb without checks.

Which is why i would support sanders over anyone else right now. The president has only minimal power, and really barely any without congress on his/her side, to make serious economic changes domestically (so sanders wouldnt get anything done on that, basically) but has enormous power in foreign politics/wars/etc. Of everyone running, sanders is the only one who seems to be a safe bet of not getting us into a bunch of wars in the middle east. After him, eh, maybe trump actually is better than the rest of the republicans, hard to say really. Hillary is terrible in comparison to sanders, but trump seems to be a bit of a question mark here.

edit after reading eski's comment above, he's probably terrible too. or maybe he has supported all sides of this issue because fundamentally he has no policies he actually represents other than rage, which is always possible

Trump Presidency Is a Global Threat, Economist Intelligence Unit Warns

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...eat-economist-intelligence-unit-warns-n540416

"The firm pointed to a number of reasons, including Trump's hostility toward free trade, his accusing China of being a "currency manipulator, his advocating the killing of terrorists' families, and his proposal to move troops into Syria to fight ISIS and take its oil."

"Mr. Trump resembles other strongmen throughout history who have achieved power by manipulating democratic processes," the editorial board wrote. "Their playbook includes a casual embrace of violence; a willingness to wield government powers against personal enemies; contempt for a free press; demonization of anyone who is not white and Christian; intimations of dark conspiracies; and the propagation of sweeping, ugly lies."
