Who specifically was this? Every case I've seen was someone who was in the building, assaulted someone, or organized groups with the intent of breaking into the building.
Well that clears it right up. People are sayingI have seen many on the news programs that have had proof they were just at the rally and did not go near the building.
I have no issue with anyone that was just protesting peacefully. Once it becomes violent or illegal ( breaking into the buildings or assaulting ) you belong in jail.
Just waiting for someone who was convicted of shoplifting at a supermarket near the Capitol on that day to claim their pardon.
(Though in a similar spirit I did wonder if Dr Fauci now has a licence to shoplift, jaywalk, and remove the labels from mattresses to his heart's content)

It would probably be tough to explain how the shoplifting was related, though.No, that was the part I was thinking of. "near the Capitol". All sorts of things might constitute "events near the Capitol on Jan 6 2021". Shoplifting is an "event" and I'm sure there are shops 'near' the Capitol, for some definition of 'near'.
Reminiscent of the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where someone "died on 911", because they were killed in a traffic accident in another part of NYC that day.

You heard it here first - it's not a big deal if one of your wealthy campaign surrogates and someone ingrained who is in your circle is celebrating white supremacy and referencing Nazi symbolism and talking points.
