Biden did the right thing before we knew the identity of the shooter. Trump campaign and Republicans initially blamed it on leftist Dems. Republicans have now come out with this unity thing after the shooter has been identified as a registered Republican who looks like a white nationalist.
Press hasn't figured out this is not a both sides thing. By that frame they are giving Trump a pass.
Like my example I've used numerous times, Dems go 5 mph over the speed limit. Trump and the GOP go 50 mph over the speed limit and the press say both are guilty of speeding.
