He's done the right thing now, anyway. He deserves credit for that - putting country before personal ego, even if it took him a while to do what was necessary. No way Trump would ever do that, no matter how much he deteriorated.
It’s unfortunate that RNC is complete and their ticket is official. His only chance of avoiding prosecution is a different R POTUS. If he picked Haley as his running mate and he also dropped out, Haley could win. And her first act would be to pardon him.

Still not clear to me what actually caused Trump's bleeding ear. If this is correct it was a very close call.

From:

Trump still experiencing 'intermittent bleeding' from '2cm wide' bullet wound, says physician

Donald Trump was struck by a bullet that passed “less than a quarter of an inch” from his head that left a “2 cm wide wound” in his right ear during last week’s assassination attempt, his former physician said.

In a statement shared by the former president, Texas congressman Ronny Jackson, Trump’s former doctor, said he has been evaluating and treating his wound daily.

Trump “is doing well”, Jackson said.

Jackson said there was initially “significant” bleeding, “followed by marked swelling of the entire upper ear” which has since resolved.

“Based on the highly vascular nature of the ear, there is still intermittent bleeding requiring a dressing to be in place,” he wrote, adding:
2cm wide bullet wound? LOL! 2cm is over 3/4 of an inch (the width of a nickel). The top of his ear would be gone, and he would have required stitches, and wouldn't be out golfing the next day without a bandage, nor would he be just covering it up with a finger bandage a week later, which is only 1" wide. I figured someone would say something stupid sooner or later that would show their hand, that gave it away that he wasn't hit by any bullet. . And here it is.. another lie to feed his base who are to stupid to realize they are being lied to once again.

His hair covers both of his ears. Does that mean he lost some hair as well? Or did he cut his ear during the Secret Service pile on top of him as I suspect. We may need Adrian Monk to solve this mystery.

I don't know.. but I was looking for pictures of his ear when he "injured" it to see if there was any indication of a wound, other than blood, and I came across the article linked below. I didn't read it, I just came acrossed it when one of the google searches for pictures sent me there. What caught my attention was the fact that somehow the secret service had a towel readily available where they tried to remove some of the blood from his ear BEFORE they even attempted to take him off stage, and someone took that picture. Like that is the first priority when a high profile person is shot at. and once again, all that blood on that towel.. non made it on his white shirt, or his hand. (there is a drop of blood on the secret services hand near his wrist however). just makes a person question what really took place. (picture is 1/3 down the page or there abouts)

edit: The blood on the towel actually looks like red paint more so than blood.

It would be nice if the conversations about the Trump shooter missing his target stop. To quote Trump, "we have to get over it"

Remember all, felix, greenman and their ilk support rape as they support a rapist. There is nothing to say after that. They are not worth the time.

Ronny Jackson lost his medical license. What does that say about his credibility?

Okay, his VA Medical license expired in 2020. Why did he allow it to expire? I don't know and I suspect you don't either.

He still has a certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine until 2025 and a Military Active License to practice in Military Facilities in Florida.

"He started administering care to Trump after the former president saw an emergency doctor, raising questions about whether the care he is continuing to give Trump still counts as emergency services."

I had MOHS Surgery to my ear that removed a 2 CM Diameter piece of skin etc down to the cartilage similar to this. My wife treated it daily and bandaged it and she isn't a doctor. Same goes for both of my knee replacement wounds that were huge. As far as I know you don't need to be a doctor to clean and bandage a wound such as this. If you did there would be millions of people in legal trouble...

Lost and expired doesn't mean or imply the same thing. What does that say about your credibility?

I believe he didn't renew (or attempt to) because of the DoD investigation that found he was a basically a walking pill dispenser during his WH stint. In other words, he wouldn't have been granted an extension due to his unethical behavior.

Not only that, the Navy busted him down from Admiral to Captain AFTER he retired because of his conduct while in the White House.

“We concluded that [Rear Adm.] Jackson’s overall course of conduct toward subordinates disparaged, belittled, bullied, and humiliated them, and fostered a negative work environment by failing to treat subordinates with dignity and respect,” according to a Pentagon IG statement at the time of the report’s release. “We also concluded that [Rear Adm.] Jackson failed to conduct himself in an exemplary manner in his treatment of subordinates throughout his tenure at WHMU. His treatment of subordinates created a negative work environment that witnesses said made an unfavorable impact on the overall command climate.”

Possibly....

Most doctors are walking pill dispensers in my 69 years of experience.

You are such an ass. You have moved the goal posts out beyond Pluto at this point. We all know you are voting for the rapist. Do you support rape? The republicans do as they nominated one.

Period

Because every high profile person used a disgraced doctor to issue a public statement about their health.

I'm sure a report we can trust. Like the doctor who said he is the most fit President ever.

Pretty much anybody can kiss your ear Boo-Boo and change the maxipad on it.

Making a semi-sort-of-kind-of 'official' statement about your condition or care might be a different issue.

That speech was the first time I've seen Diaper Donny and thought "Hmmmm, shame he wasn't a bit further to the right tbh"

What?! Too soon still?

I didn't understand that this was some weird personal thing. You feel the need to best me in a contest of wits over a grammatical term. I'm flattered that it's so important to you, but you'll have to go elsewhere for the gratification you seek, as I'm not going to enter into an argument about the precise definition of a nick.

You cannot have your cake and eat it too
