I condemn this in the largest possible terms. This is not the way to do things. I’m not gonna lie, between this and the Biden kerfuffle, it feels like the wheels are coming off this thing we call US politics. This election is insane. Even 12 months ago this election was unprecedented in so many ways. Now I legitimately have no idea who’s going to win, and can’t guess what’s going to happen either way.

This race has resisted massive swings at every turn and I'm really not sure this is going to change that. Trump conviction was good for 1-2 points, Biden debate disaster was good for 1-2 points.

I was wrong about the shooter’s weapon. They’re saying he was outside the secured perimeter and somehow got onto an adjacent rooftop that should’ve been secured. So definitely longer range than I thought.
