Trump's handling of foreign affairs was designed to troll you morons. How many pages is this thread? Vs how many Americans cared about Helsinki and Roo-Shenz, according to polling? Time for a reality check, the circle jerk is over.
Best case : You are right.
Worst case : Holy shit. Did you read todays news that russ hackers have penetrated your electrical grids by now and is "standing by".. This is news that Trump have had for some time and def. during Helsinki.
Place your bets.

You mean our allies like the top 10 recipients of Russian gas? Or maybe like France (our "ally) who partnered with Putin to buy a 10% stake in Russia's arctic gas project?

Like that you mean?

I'm sure you think you're dropping a bombshell on me, but you really suck at actually addressing people's points. That you think that means they're just as much in with Putin or not actual allies, is just asinine, but that's your usual routine. Next up you'll claim you don't think that at all, despite you clearly trying to insinuate that.

They could, both do those deals and also deliberately slap sanctions of Putin's inner circle (in fact, they did, not sure if you noticed?), not to mention they could also extradite them if our fucked up President would stop blowing them and actually decide "oh, yes, they absolutely are doing this shit, so we should punish them" and you know, actually give them a fucking reason to? But hey, why bother talking about what I was when you can keep quibbling?

FYI, Russia working foreign deals actually is a potential signal that sanctions work, as it means that Russia has to seek outside capital investment, and on terms that aren't as good for them, because they don't have the money to develop it themselves. You might have noticed that happened in Russia's negotiations with China, when China used the freshly slapped sanctions to squeeze a favorable deal. (https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...e3-8dcc-d6b7fede081a_story.html?noredirect=on now I know you'll have to actually read the fucking article to get to where its likely that Russia is fudging the shit out of the deal because it'd make them look bad if people knew; not to mention that if it was tied to other prices like oil, then they took a fucking blood bath for the past few years and likely will continue to do so if natural gas and green energy production keep growing as it'll tank the price of that as well as oil). But then, I'm guessing this actually predates all of this, and is more that after the collapse of the Soviet Union the West was eager to open up that new market, and that included investing in Russian companies specifically to gain access to natural resources (among other things) for their own gains. I mean, did you miss the connection between those two things you linked? Or are you being a typical dumbfuck Conservative and not understanding your own links? Might've noticed this little bit in there: "...Total, which owns almost 20 percent of Novatek..." But oh my god, this French company that already owns a sizeable share of this Russian company, doing a deal to develop new natural gas prospects, just wow! Fucking idiot, seriously can just one of you shit for brains actually know like goddamned anything that you fucking talk about ever? I mean, fuck its like you're surprised that huge multinational fossil fuel companies do things that are kinda scummy. Who knew?!? I mean, its not like that's the entire crux of the fucking problem with this thread and Turmp, is that him and other assholes have gotten so entwined with the corrupt Russians (who are desperate to return to their former prominent position as a global superpower), that it presents fucking issues. But damn, you sure told me off by linking to how Europe has been gladly buying quite cheap abundant Russian natural gas so as to try to improve their emissions as they ditch coal (and many of them nuclear as well).

Next up Turmp will say that's why he's been smooching up to Putin's asshole (oh that's his face?), he's saving us all! And then he'll turn around and say he never meant that he was sucking Putin's dick in the private meeting, its only women that do the private blow jobs. And then he'll claim he's never done that either. And then there will probably be a leak of a tape of Turmp claiming he's probably spent more on blow jobs than an average person makes in their whole lifetime. And there will be a hubub over people poking fun at the dumbass way he says things and going "so, he's saying he's been paying to get blowjobs from men?" And then you'll have the usual idiots just going "fakenews, Turmp's not gay, look he has kids!" And you'll have stupid people like blackangst going "I don't get where liberals are having a problem with Turmp's ties to Russia, can someone explain it to me" whereby he'll ignore the actual points of any and all responses, drop some links or spout some typical talking point that only tangentially addresses what people offer to him, while throwing in random nonsense and quibbling that he doesn't get it when people provide plenty of things that anyone with more than a shriveled-Turmp-dick-sized brain would be able to deduce actual rational sense from, but somehow still eludes blackangst.
