I can't wait for the hearing when Jackson is asked who weighed Trump, and the chain of custody of the number until it was disclosed to the public. No way that fat fuck weighs 239 which is coincidentally 1 lb below obese.
Don’t forget his height..

One doesn't get to be an admiral without some leadership and management skills. But, this still sounds like "Take fifty pounds off my weight and gush about me like a schoolgirl and good things will happen to you, buh-lieve me!"

I guess we're lucky he didn't choose that previous personal physician who looks like the mad-scientist guy from Independence Day.

We are lucky he didn't choose the mad-scientist guy from Independence Day. Then some aide would have to been tasked with explaining to Trump that Judd Hirsch is neither a real mad-scientist nor a doctor. That poor aide would probably be get fired.

Or why Jackson didn't talk about this...
CNN's chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta insisted that President Donald Trump has heart disease, based on information the White House released Tuesday from his physical.

Speaking on CNN Wednesday morning, Gupta pointed to Trump's coronary calcium score, which is 133. In 2013, that number was 98 while in 2009 it was 34. A score above 100 signals a high risk of heart attack or heart disease within five years, CNN noted.

The numbers "have continued to go up despite the fact that he's been on medications," Gupta said. "So the president has heart disease, those numbers qualify him for having heart disease, and he clearly needs a plan to try and prevent some heart problem down the road."

Gupta confronted White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson during a Tuesday briefing on Trump's physical, saying the numbers point to him having heart disease. Jackson insisted that Trump's "heart is very healthy" and there is "no evidence of cardiovascular disease."

I think he means the Brent Spiner character in Independence Day, that was in charge of Area 51

He actually has decent qualifications.

*Was put into place as the role of Physician to the President on July 25, 2013, by Barack Obama
*United States Navy rear admiral
*Honor graduate of the Navy’s Undersea Medical Officer Program in Groton, Connecticut.

Again he is being out in place to run the entire VA. Not to be a doctor. Being an administrator is a completely different job than taking care of patients.

It's like taking a cop who's been walking a beat in Florida for 10 years and suddenly making him CIA Director. Yes the CIA is part of law enforcement but there is way more to the job of being CIA Director than simply being able to do the day to day duties of walking a beat.

Really? I don't think Dr. Harold Bornstein looks anything like Data. I thought he looked a lot more like Judd Hirsch. Either way, same thing.

I'm more confused about his specific positions... He was a Rear Admiral, arguably a very administrative position (militarily), but he was placed as a primary physician? I mean, why that position? Why not running something like the VA (or some sub-org under the VA I guess with his background). Does the Navy grant high rank officer positions to senior physicians regardless of actual administrative workload/responsibility? Admittedly I've only ever interacted with Air Force ones, but like 99% of the docs I dealt with were O-4's or lower.

Yeah he's got an impressive resume but not in healthcare administration. At the very least it's gonna be a steep learning curve if he wants to do the job properly. But the reason for the transition is that Shulkin wouldn't move fast enough to privatization. If he's gonna follow the Trump agenda, he's just gonna push people around to privatize and depend on everyone with administrative and VA experience to do it the best they can.

You realize these are different jobs? Also I don't recall people suspecting him of lying after Obama's exams. Everyone who gets close to Dump winds up lying.

Don't see anything about managing vast administrative department in there, do you? This isn't a position where you hire a physician (never mind one that is willing to lie to the public about the physical data of POTUS), this is a position where you hire an experienced administrator.

In Independence Day the Data guy had crazy-person long white hair, just like the comparison to Trump's crazy personal fake doctor. Besides, Judd Hirsch played "neurotic Jewish dad" in ID; he wasn't a doctor of any sort.

His career path does not indicate that he has managed a lot of people. He's a great surgeon, no one is denying this.

The wiki page doesn't mention anything much bigger than a platoon or being head of the white house medical staff. Don't imagine that is a big operation.

What the hell does a rear admiral have to do with running the VA? If that was the case, let elect all admirals and generals to manage the one of the largest healthcare organizations in the US all the time. In fact, lets get rear admirals to run medicare and humana as well.

By the way how impressive is being a rear admiral? Not very. It sounds impressive but its not actually that impressive when you put it in context. Currently there are 112 lower rear admirals and like 60 upper rear admirals in the US navy. They make a little over 100K per year before taxes. In addition, other military services (the airforce, the marines, etc) also have large numbers of similar ranked positions. In addition, I wager that some positions in the military (engineers, doctors, etc) need to have at least some representation at the upper levels for administrative reasons and so he probably is just the one career military doc who didn't leave to actually go make real money in the field (why make 100K and live on a base in Qatar when you can make 400K and live San Diego or something). It doesn't imply at all in any sense that he is a quality doc; if anything its a strike against him that he is a military doc when it comes to judging his clinical skills. You guys saw his note on trump and the backlash a lot of doctors had on his conclusions. My suspicion is he's mostly a rear admiral because he is somewhat educated and part of a niche group of the military group and doing a fairly undesirable job for most doctors .

Of course there is an issue here, it's called Trump, since Trump has burned up much of his political capital anything he does or says is automatically going to be questioned, that is Trumps greatest flaw as president, he doesn't seem to get that he isn't the boss at some private company that can fire or hire at his pleasure but a politician that needs to build bridges in order to accomplish things, not burn them down.

If Hillary won and put this guy in charge the republicans would be questioning his qualifications since their most hated President, Obama, made him Physician to the President.

Shulkin was just on Chris Hayes’ show, where he claimed that the day he was fired, Trump called him to shoot the shit and never once mentioned that his job was in jeopardy. Kelly called him 2 minutes later to fire him. LOL

That's because trump is a limp, dick, pussy. Its why he has to pay people to fuck him and why he has to surround himself with yes men and enablers. He's an insecure authoritarian with mommy issues.

All you have to do is use flattering speech with Trump and you have favor with him. Jackson's post health evaluation report must have really fluffed up Trump's ego.

Hope they tear that report apart at the hearings.
