I've been in this business for 7 years now and it's never been harder to figure out why markets are doing what they are doing than the last year and a half or so. It's not as "rational" as it used to be.

I'm no expert but it seems pretty similar to me to the late summer of 2008-just before the wheels really came off, when the market seemed to be bouncing around a lot with a lot of volume and volatility. Then, like now, all the "experts" were talking about it being a simple correction and it was inevitable the prices would continue to rise forever.

But that can't happen now, as Trump has already borrowed to the hilt to fund the tax giveaway and he has made substantial steps towards gutting Dodd Frank and the consumer protection laws. Nothing to worry about, MAGA.
