All the same, if the DNC hadn't conspired against the public to foist Clinton and her "gold standard" TPP self onto the public we would never have ended up with Trump.I hated Trump during the election and while I was not a great fan of Hilary she looked so much better than him. I had people telling me how bad she was and I was questioning my hate of Trump as being emotional and not rational but now that he is in office it is clear that he is an idiot and everyone who voted for him should be ashamed of themselves. flame away for this republican who voted for Hilary.
Never. Any decent Dem candidate would have beaten him. Hillary, though, was one of the most hated candidates of all-time. That's a great choice! Blame the public instead of blaming the corruption of the DNC. Let's literally condemn the American public for the DNC's choice of a massively unpopular person to try to win a popularity contest with.
Clinton cracked up with maniacal laughter about a war with Iran. She gave DNC Debbie a position of honor in her campaign after she was kicked out for corruption. That is not the sort of leadership anyone should mourn the loss of. I think Iran sucks. They oppress gays viciously and are far too theocratic. However, bombing Iran to enrich our arms dealers is not humanitarian unless one can credibly argue that Islam will be completely replaced with the regime change and that won't involve a bloody dictator.
Your friends weren't wrong. Hillary Clinton was an unacceptable candidate. Donald Trump is simply worse. It's a fallacy to blame people for considering her unacceptable just because the GOP is so corrupt as to give the nomination to a useful idiot.
Both parties have shown, extremely clearly, their contempt for the public with these nominees.
I could not vote for either of them. Carlin was correct. When you're offered unacceptable choices you don't vote in favor of them.
