Trump tied to install his stooge in the SDNY to take over Michael Cohen investigation

So Trump appoints Whitaker as acting AG so he can install one of his cronies into the SDNY to take over the Michael Cohen case. Said stooge had already recused himself from cases involving Trump so Whitaker couldn't get it done. Also this story run in contrast to Whitaker's sworn testimony before Congress that Trump applied no pressure involving ongoing investigations. Now Gerry Nadler is calling Whitaker back indicating "we know you lied, dude".

All these stabs at the system of justice in order to escape the dragnet Trump has already entangled himself in.

Well he is after all presumed innocent until proven to the contrary.

But, the big problem here is that Trump simply doesn't act that way. Refusing to reveal his tax papers was just the tippy top of the 'ol iceberg for what must have been a run from the law from that day forward for Trump.

I look back at the numerous blatant and humorous/humiliating dodges and fakes that Trump has been employing in order to escape from what now looks to be his inevitable just due and I am amazed that he is still the object of endearment and affection from what must be millions of our fellow Americans.
