You can't be serious....right?So the US retaliates against unfair practices by China and you support China?

If Trump isn't manipulating the market for personal gain, he's an even a bigger idiot than he appears.me watching the stock market today...

oh he is making money on this.
I don't see any other reason why trump would say the stuff he does.
You either have to subscribe to the notion that Tump is some sort of "stable genius" supervillan playing 87 dimensional chess or that he's an old man with extremely limited knowledge yet is supremely confident in his beliefs and abilities regardless of the facts.
Option 2 sounds a lot more plausible if you know anybody of his means/position/generation. Why old rich white dudes love him so much.
Meanwhile I might have to delay my retirement because some orange asshole wants to play life with other people lifes, dipshit. I am so fucking furious over this excuse of a human turd feces.
The other option is to actually negotiate vs ruling via twitter posts. Just because someone doesn't like how Trump is handling this doesn't mean that they love how China does business.
If you were an unscrupulous person and you wanted to make money quickly, being president and purposely adding instability to the market would probably be the best way to do it.
I don't see any other reason why trump would say the stuff he does.
So the question then becomes, is trump super incompetent or super corrupt? He could be both but you usually don't get far by being both.

And like I posted earlier here, basic building materials going up as well. Not a problem for you of course because it's not like basic building materials affect anyone at all.
"The other guy supports killing babies and gays getting hitched? How could I vote fore that?" You all are completely disconnected from the average thought process of the hardened republican.
So, FYGM then?Nope, not a problem for me at all.
If building material costs go up it will be a problem for those who intend to build/buy real estate in the future. Those who already own will likely see some benefit. When the cost for new construction goes up the value of existing r/e increases too.

So if Trump's imposition of tariffs is going to kill our economy is Xi's doing likewise going to kill China's?
Fern
It's time we tax the China junk. Do with less.
Nope, not a problem for me at all.

Only because new construction would slow.
One of the areas of import China is targeting for tariffs is soybeans. Why soybeans you may ask? Well look at this:
Compared to the 2016 electoral map:
Well the president shouldn’t worry I’m sure the soybean farmers who’ll stand to lose millions will understand his nuanced approach to international trade and rein in their economic anxiety when voting this November. Right?

Suprised no one here has mentioned that China is one of the only countries that produces rare earth minerals the we have become so dependent on.
"These are elements like dysprosium, neodymium, gadolinium, and ytterbium. They aren't actually rare, but they do play crucial roles in everything from smart phones to electric car motors, hard drives, wind turbines, military radar, smart bombs, laser guidance, and more. They're also quite difficult to mine and process."
" It turns out the United States is almost entirely dependent on foreign suppliers for rare earth metals. More importantly, it's almost entirely dependent on China specifically for rare earth metals that have been processed into a final and usable form."
Interesting article.
