First of all, the government and everyone need to respect the result, second you don't know and doesn't have a proof that majority of the people want to cancel brexit.
I find it interesting that you asked a question, basically ignored both responses and then said "no, you're wrong" along with a straw man as the conclusion to your argument.
If you're so certain of your position, then it should be able to withstand some critical analysis and give reasoned responses in counterpoints of your position. That is, if you're interested in the meaningful exchange of ideas and learning something.
Here's some counterpoints to your latest response (despite the fact that you haven't addressed the previous counterpoints at all):
What does "respecting the result" entail? Does two years of attempted and failed negotiations to achieve the instruction set forward by the referendum not count with regard to "respecting the result"? If all research into projected outcomes for various Brexit outcomes showed that the UK as a whole would be significantly worse off for leaving the EU, should the UK government have to steer us down a path they know to be detrimental to our future? In what scenario would you say, "no, leaving the EU would be an incredibly bad idea"?
