Trump gave Piers Morgan a 30 minute on camera interview on AF1 before departing Stansted.

Sweet merciful christ make it stop.

Quick somebody open that creepy black sarcophagus they just found in Egypt and put the species out of it's misery.

This is a 5 minute piece from former Ambassador to NATO, Nick Burns from the PBS news tonight.
He talks about trumps chaos there along with a few other things.

Not a coincidence, IMO that he attacks our two closest allies (UK, Germany) who have women in charge.
Praises May's strongest foe, Boris Johnson.
This all goes along with his misogyny.

But it's still people choice and as a democratic country you must do it

Actually no-one "must" do it. If it had been a general election with a result that close, it would have resulted in a hung parliament, so the usual way to do things then is that the politicians attempt to hammer out a coalition agreement, and if they can't, a new election ensues.

In theory, the party with the largest majority in such a situation could take power, but given the slightly devolved dictatorship we have here where MPs vote the way they're told to or risk punishment, the minority government would get kicked to the curb by the other parties voting contrary to its interests pretty much every time it wanted to do something.

Considering that the Brexit vote was the epitome of a hung parliament (it has split the main two parties), it's completely illogical to go ahead with it, even if anyone knew what "it" is. Because the tories went ahead with it anyway, we're seeing the utter political chaos we're seeing at the moment, the value of the Pound damaged, and no good news in sight.

So what's the point of the vote if the government not execute it?

What's the point of doing something if everyone begins to realise what a bad idea it is?

Democracy is an ongoing, every day thing and shouldn't treated as a series of one-off events like the Olympics. If people see just how damaging Brexit is going to be, there would be nothing undemocratic about not going ahead with it.

I was going to respond but you've hit the nail on the head already.

The only thing I would add is that the only way a referendum on this topic would have made sense would be if a theoretically realistic deal had already been formulated, and the choices were "remain in the EU" or "that specific deal or something very close to it both in spirit and in a technical sense". Instead we had a referendum that may as well asked if we wanted cake. Yes, we want cake! Now we just have to figure out the specifics of this great idea, like if it's subsidised cake for all, or just for the rich, or whether we're going to have all the cake we want provided we can get the French to pay for it.

You?

Not we, as in I’m a Brit & I want this done?

You, as in I’m not an American but I want You to get this done.

You, as in I’m not from a Democratic country but you need to get this done?

Strange choice of words

And to Macron, as we all know

"Trump 'told Macron he should take France out of EU' for a better US trade deal"

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ance-leave-eu-trade-deal-brexit-a8423381.html

It is almost like its Putin wearing a Trump skin or something.

BONUS:

"‘I hadn’t thought’ of asking Putin to extradite indicted Russian agents, Trump says"

And if people change their minds before its done, they should halt it right? I have a feeling things would be different come a second vote..

UK trying to become independent of the EU, US already treating it like it's bitch before they're even out. What a shitshow.

It would be awesome if a world leader would just flat out tell Trump to "fuck off and stop acting like an ignorant child" in public. Diplomatic norms really do work in Trump's favor because he knows he can be rude and most leaders won't punch back because it would be rude and not how things are done.

Get a better trade deal with the US IF you sue EU instead of negotiate.
What the actual Fuck.

Its quite clear that Trump shares Putins vision of a failed EU project. It baffles my mind our leaders are just watching this.

First of all, the government and everyone need to respect the result, second you don't know and doesn't have a proof that majority of the people want to cancel brexit.
