At which he is currently attending the 2nd trial because he can't stop defaming her. He's already been convicted of sexual abuse.
Or at least 'found liable', which is essentially the same.
It's almost like these people don't read the parts of the Bible that warn against false prophets and charlatans. So where else in the world would an orange tinged convicted rapist, adulterer, tax cheat and serial liar be so popular with a state's influential religiously conservative evangelical voter base I wonder? And how do these hypocritical holier than thou evangelicals rationalize their way around endorsing what is such a diametrically opposed religiously barren contemptable wretch of a man?
I mean, it's as if these self-described Sticklers to the Word folks are enlisting the aid of the devil incarnate to garner more influence in the body politic that's way above and beyond what their declining numbers are in actuality. Clever word-smithing and conjuring rationale to fit an religiously infected political agenda does not a conservative make.
He was saying that before the 2020 election too, he definitely will not leave willingly at the end of his term if he gets elected again.Has anyone mentioned Trump saying "Four more years and beyond"?
I've been seeing this a lot from right wing posters/commenters, they never say why it matters they just keep spouting "We're not a democracy we're a constitutional republic." Not too surprising to see him repeating the same talking point, also not surprising he can't really articulate why it matters. The electoral college and the senate have literally zero to do with if we are a republic or not.
I get the feeling people don’t understand what a republic is. All it means is that we elect representatives to vote on legislation instead of voting directly. If we abolished the senate and electoral college tomorrow we would still be every bit as much of a republic as we are today.
We are both a republic and a democracy. These are not complicated concepts to understand. He was saying that before the 2020 election too, he definitely will not leave willingly at the end of his term if he gets elected again.

Oh, he may even do it all legal like ~ by having Ivanka or some other puppet follow-on as "president" and Donald as "Secretary of State" or some-such. Following former example of his idol Putin.I’m sure they will say ‘he’s just joking’ as if he didn’t attempt a coup last time he was forced to leave office.
He’s not joking - he intends to become a dictator and end US democracy if he becomes president again. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either stupid or lying.
We've been teetering on a collapsing government for actual years. Does a reasonably stable government fail to pass budgets until the zeroth hour year after year? Does a reasonably stable government fail to place people in required governmental positions for months or years? Does a reasonably stable government not know if they're allowed to place an insurrectionist in the chief executive office? What I'm advocating is a constitutional republic, as opposed to mob rule. I like our system, I like the way it works, I like a reasonably stable government.
If that number is accurate it means Trump has zero chance of winning in November and so his entire campaign is doomed.
Because in a competitive election if you lose a third of your base you're doomed. Not just because that number alone is enough to tank his chances but if a third of Republicans think that it's extremely likely that an even larger proportion of independents think that. If that's accurate Trump doesn't just lose - he loses in an epic landslide. How so?
How so?
I went and did some quick back of the napkin math and if Trump had lost a third of his voters in 2020 he would have lost 38 states and the election would have been 461-77 for Biden. A near-Mondale level blowout. If 30% of GOP caucus voters, literally the whitest most conservative people you can find, say they won't vote for Trump if convicted that signals a pretty huge potential general election problem.

Not the way the system was designed, and not the way it operates. You want to change it because you're often unhappy with the results and want to be sure those stupid red states don't get a say in the elections. The people don't elect the president, the states do.
We should put custom titles on these purposely willfully ignorant putzes that have no standards as long as it keeps their team shitty in power. What you really mean is that you want the EC to remain as long as it gives your guy a chance at becoming president despite a majority of American citizens voting otherwise. Otherwise if you really care about states rights you'll be fine with several of them not allowing Trump on the ballot if that state choses that.
Yup sadlyIf Joe wins at all, it'll be another squeaker.
Yikes-if my (google) math is correct, then those that participated in the caucus were approx. 7% of Iowa's GOP and 1% of Iowa's population. Put another way Trump's landslide represented approx. 3.5% of the GOP or 0,5% of Iowa.Fact checkers say he was talking about keeping Iowa first in the caucus/primary season.
Also, to make sure everyone understands the full context of these results:
I’m still concerned simply because the risk is so great. The Vengeance Presidency would not be good.Fact checkers say he was talking about keeping Iowa first in the caucus/primary season.

if the Dems had a candidate with out such absolutely horrible negative numbers, it would be a shoe in. But Biden=baggage, some of the worst numbers of any incumbent ever.If Joe wins at all, it'll be another squeaker.
