DeSantis says he lost Iowa because the media rigged it for Loser Donald. Blames "election interference"

"Election interference" is the new word for campaigning, as long as the candidate is either a Democrat or running against Trump.

My opponent had people knocking on doors and telling people to vote for them instead of me! Election Interference!

I was kind of surprised that "Education is indoctrination" wasn't on there, but the spelling mistakes make me think they probably didn't have much experience with that so it probably just slipped their mind.
You expect to much from a facebook meme.

Y'know, I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me why Harris is 'deeply unpopular' for reasons that can't be copy-pasted to Pence, Biden 16 years ago, Cheney, Kaine, Quayle, etc. Other than being a woman of color of course.

Haley is a woman of color, and the #2 candidate in the Jews Will Not Replace Us party.... So.. Are you saying the Ds are more racist than Rs?

Harris is unpopular because she's an inconsistent goofball senator from California who's been promoted one level above her competency.

If Joe wins at all, it'll be another squeaker.

Maybe.

Don't see how Trump over performs his previous elections, which he always lost. He has a hardcore, just too small to win beyond primaries.

More likely alternative scenario imo is a spectacular collapse by Trump when the normies pay attention to him again and remembers what a fuckin retarded blowhard lying criminal he is..

Really comes down to the econ/ inflation/ Gaza not blowing up into WW3 and voters being ok enough with Biden to not commit seppuku with Trump.

I'm an outsider looking in... so my apologies for stepping on toes, but I see these numbers;

From https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-01-17/iowa-republican-caucuses-donald-trump-analysis/103300590

And then I go and look up what happened in 2020... 31k Republicans turned up and 97% voted for Trump.

Seems to me that the Republican base is kinda energised about something, and its not all about voting for Trump given his lackluster 51% take.
You don’t back stab the sitting president

Not a valid comparison. Check '16 as that was the last "open" primary when the incumbent President wasn't on the ballot.

Maybe amend the constitution to have the Vice President from the opposition party, to keep a well known rabid President from doing anything too stupid?
Yeah, they tried that already in the founding of the country - didn't work out so great and they scrapped it to allow single President/VP slates.
I've thought for years that all presidents should have a VP from a different party. That'd be rad.
That would suck when you have a 50-50 senate. It means that the president would be constantly thwarted by their VP's tie-breaking vote. That sounds terrible, considering the anti-majoritarian nature the Senate already has built into their rules.
Not the way the system was designed, and not the way it operates. You want to change it because you're often unhappy with the results and want to be sure those stupid red states don't get a say in the elections. The people don't elect the president, the states do.
The purpose of a system is what it does. Just because it was designed to do something else, doesn't mean it ever functioned in that capacity, so we should stop lying to ourselves and get rid of this stupid system.

Pretty sure he won the Presidential election in 2016.
As such, you really overestimate American voters. They've been committing seppuku since at least the Reagan revolution.

But what has she done to prove that she's currently in a position above her competency? Can you give any examples? They must be prolific if she's unsuited for the position.

718,000 registered repugs in Iowa.

102,000 voted. Pathetic! Pardon me while I laugh along with the *sad trombone* I expected him to do far better, what a loser. Who just won Iowa? Joe Biden.

Like I've been saying, Team Treason is cooked as long as they stay with the criminal and Russian asset. Abortion rights and the threat to the Constitution just add to it. Joe Biden is going to curb stomp Traitor Trump in November. Will make the beat down of 2020 look tame by comparison. The rational side of America isn't interested in the GQP destroying the economy again, or letting Trump empower religious extremists while selling secrets to our adversaries.

Unless SCOTUS plays calvinball to save him, only thing Trump is going to win is a prison sentence.

And he smells like shit and failure.

Why is Kamala Harris so unpopular?

From a distance it seems to me she hasn't made much impact or done very much, but then that seems to almost always be the case with Vice Presidents, it seems like a job in which it's impossible to make any sort of mark. (Didn't one say something about it being worth 'a pint of spit'?)

She's a non white woman in power with an ethnic sounding name. That's a vag full of sand for christofascists, regardless of office.

She's been the lowest profile VP since FDR kept his in a cardboard box. If she announced that she wasn't running for reelection, the Reps would never mention Harris again. Harris came to a local event last year and people were asking, "Who's the woman standing next to the Secretary of the Interior?"

Right, and if that's the case, Harris herself isn't 'deeply unpopular' as compared to any other VP... She's just a normal, probably competent VP which is a position that primarily exists to be a backup in case something happens to the president.

Not a goddamned thing wrong with that. I'm so sick of high profile politicians I could vomit. I'm a gnats nut hair away from just voting for chatgpt for all offices at this point just so I don't have to watch another fucking asshole talking head tell me who I'm supposed to be afraid of this week.

I think it's just Harris's persona and entire demeanor. I mean watch a clip of her talking vs say Hillary Clinton.

Clinton sounds stern, serious, thoughtful (like her or not).

Most of what I've seen from Harris is sort of a gigglish, almost girl-ish quality to it, which for better or worse just doesn't really inspire confidence.

Now if it was her vs just about any DIY Pub candidate I would vote for her, but I can see a lot of people sitting it out just because she comes off as dislikable (The president I *wouldn't* want to have a beer with effect).
