Opinion:
Under the new CBO report, if the law passes today, 15 million Americans, mostly poort and the old, will loose health care within 12month. 22 million in 10 years time. Also out of pocket expenses are expected to rise sharply for those with insurance. If Republicans who control all branches of government want to replace Obamacare with something better, does this healthcare bill looks like an improvement?
Why would they draft a bill in something as important as healthcare behind closed doors with no hearing nor input from experts or patients who will be affected by this? Why give just 7 days before a vote? Why rush on something that will profoundly affect millions of Americans?
Why not go back to the drawing board to come up with a version of the bill that's an improvement to Obamacare before considering replacing that? Doesn't the government owe us a bit of patience and diligence before passing a law that will affect so many people?
