Just when you thought that things couldn't get any worse with all of the police corruption, abuse and general lack of respect for the citizenry they're supposed to be protecting we get this announcement. The DOJ is formally scaling back support for the police reform program meant to address these issues.

Laisses faire is rearing its ugly head again and there's no telling where it will end up at by the time he's done. Considering that cops can make open statements on duty about what they are about to do to people and then actually get away with it this should be fun. Liberals might want to consider gun ownership now.
