Trying to add 3rd monitor to 7800 GT - Just bought Quadro NVS PCI

Just like the title. I have dual monitors on Geforce 7800GT, went with a Nvidia quadro NVS pci card so i could add another monitor.
I have tried various combinations of drivers. The most current one doesn't seem to work on the Quadro. I have tried doing the auto install for both cards, that doesn't work.
At one point the 2 monitors hooked up to the 7800 were working, and the 3rd was on with the background on, but i could not mouse over to it.
Do i need a "Geforce" pci card to get this all working?

When you had the background on the third monitor, did you check out their arrangement in the display manager of whatever OS you are using? It may have been on a different edge.

it wouldn't show the 3rd when i was trying to configure the display arrangement.
i dont even know how it was set up when the 3rd was actually showing the background.
every other time, the 3rd one hasnt even been on, when the other 2 are working.

Try to get a refund on the Quadro so you can buy a standard Geforce. The Quadro is designed for CAD and other workstation functions and really don't work well for consumer apps.
