Trying to choose a case

I plan to put inside the case:

3800 X2
7800GT
Seagate 250GB
optical drive
2GB of ram
seasonic 500W

I also need to buy a 17in -19in LCD

I'm on a budget of 1500USD so ......
Centurion 5

or what other case should I get instead...?

The case you linked has 1-120 and 1-80mm fan.

Get the Antec SLK3000B. It comes with 1-120 at the rear. Just add a 120x38 to the front intake and be done with it.

IIRC, Amazon.com had these for $49 shipped. VG buy on a very decent case.

Don't pick it to death.

I just ordered this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133127 today for my sons machine. It's basically the same case I'm using for my own rig however it's got some differences and the thermaltake front bezel and side panel. It's got a $40 rebate if you buy before the end of the month making it a real steal. If you cherish having room to work inside the case and having your drives face towards the side along with lots of air flow then look at this one.

120x38 means a 120 mm diameter fan with a thickness of 38 mm.

try looking into the Cooler Master Cavaliers. My friend has one and it has pretty decent cooling (keeps his CPU at 30C with the 80 mm side intake i gave him). However, his does not have a window. If you want a window, I suggest Raidmax X-1.

Ive got the Centurion 5 and i think its a fine case. Its simple has good air flow, plenty of space and screwless installation of drives. Its a good looking case. The only one problem ive had with it is the front panel.But i cant be stuffed explaining it now. MERRY CHIRSTMAS!

In rank of great cases u listed: the Centurion 531, Cavalier 3 and Centurion 5, Xaser V, and the Antec. Personaly, for the $5 difference between the Centurion and Cavalier, I'd buy the Cavalier. Has a full aluminum front door and everything. O yea: MERRY CHRISTMAS :gift: :beer:

Because it's:

1. One of, if not the quietest case on the market.
2. Has very sophisticated cooling options
3. Is classy in its minimalism.

A cheaper, but somewhat similar design is the Thermaltake Mambo. CompUSA have it this week for $50AR.

the one you linked to is a nice budget case. if you want to look for a nice case i recommend looking at some Lian Li cases.

Some of the Lian Lis look OK, but around 100 USD...for the same price you can get something like a P180 (which has its own issues, but is a very good and silent case)

Some of the older alienware style cases look ok (made by Raidmax I think) and run aorund 50 or so...

The Antec plusview looks to be good as well.
