Trying to find 4k IPS Monitor with 100% Adobe RGB coverage. Help.

Hello all. I am trying to find a 4K UHD (60hz) 24"+ IPS monitor for video editing and photoshop. I'm having trouble finding one with 100% Adobe RGB coverage. My budget is about +/-$600. Does such a mythical beast exist? I do not do gaming. I repeat, I DO NOT DO gaming. Just want to put that out there as I know many here are gamers and buy their monitor to match this.

Yes I goggled this and read too many round-up reviews of 4k monitors but just not finding anything. Anyone know of something with the above specs and price?

That's a tall order... 100% Adobe RGB is gonna be your main issue in that price and res range.

1) Brand preferences?
2) Want a warranty?
3) Related to 2) - any objection to buying refurbed or used?

Looking at Newegg right now I don't see anything that matches your criteria, save for this refurbed LG 31MU97 for $550 (though having owned and used one for awhile now I can't recommend it). And that's with expanding the budget to $700.

If you're not averse to buying used, you might wanna check out Craigslist and see if people are offloading anything there. I've bought the last 6 monitors I've used (including the ones in my sig) off there and all of them are still kicking today. Most of the Dells actually still have factory warranty in my name. Not gonna go into why I think buying monitors off Craigslist is a good idea (unless you want me to), but if you live in a big metro area you can find some decent deals if you're patient and careful. I got my 31MU97 (31") for $500 and my UP3216Q (32") for $700 from there, both of which more than fit your criteria.

I'd also say it looks like I'll have to settle for less than 100% aRGB Adobe RGB. Doing research it looks like most only come to 80% aRGB in this price range. Any suggestions?

Speak of the devil, I think I just found what I was looking for. Dell just released this 4k monitor with 100 Adobe RGB coverage. They sell it for $500 at microcenter. Hot damn!!

One is HDR, the other is "HDR". See brightness differences.

I don't care about the HDR thing. And the one with (UP2718Q) this costs THREE TIMES as much as the one I just bought, U2718Q model. I just got it for $500 at Microcenter. However after doing color calibration, the monitor only covers 75% of the Adobe RGB color space. I saw documented on-line that it covers 100% Adobe RGB. This was even confirmed by Dell chat technician. I'm not sure what I'll do at this point. I don't have a budget of $1,000++ for a monitor.

Yes, that monitor does offer 100% regular RGB coverage. However it doesn't say if the one I got does, or does not have 100% Adobe RGB coverage as well.

Look at the BenQ 32 2k monitor. Not sure it's 100% but remember it was very good rated door image work. Benqoutlet had them for 360. I run one at work, though I'm just a product manager.

It is 100% sRGB, and VA panel, so you get real blacks for free, and increased contrast ratio.. but resolution is 1440p.
