As far as the questions about shouldn't we have found these in pre-release? well of course we should of. but we didn't. nothing we can do about that now. this is the worst thing to ever have to do. marking a version as bad is not a fun thing to do.

Once again we are truely sorry about this. This is the worst thing to have to do.

So even though the blocks for 8011 will count, dnet would prefer us not to use them, and had asked us to downgrade to 8010, which is what I based my info on.

Ray,

Who says your memory is failing you?!? I have several machiines that have this client and as of yet not seen any issue that prompts me to discontinue them. Some machines are remote, so getting to them is nearly impossible.

Since the client will not be discontinued, DNet is telling me that the work they do is valid, which is my greatest concern. Since that is not an issue, I choose to continue to use them (not on new assimilations, I use client 8010 for that, I just choose not to downgrade those clients).

I don't reccomend people go out and find client 8011, I just inform them that the issue that caused 8012 to be discontinued is not valid with 8011.

If I had PCs running 8011 with no issues, and it was producing a faster keyrate than 8010, and the blocks are ok, guess what release I would be running? Same as you, 8011.

Just like to make sure all the info available, so we can make informed decisions.

Every time I've become convinced that you've fallen off the face of the Earth, you manage to pop back up again....

I can clearly see now that our next fundraiser will not be for &quot;Son of Warpcore&quot;, but rather for a wearable/wireless computer so we can keep hearing from you despite being in (bed, HT room, hospital bed, operating table, etc.)
