That depends on the game you're playing, but for the most-part, you're right. It's extremely easy to tell while playing FPS team games when someone is using a controller, but I've seen people use controllers on Dungeon Defenders and they were able to keep up with us just fine.

I guess I'm just one of those people who cannot play video games laying down since it gives me a headache. With that in mind, I splurged and bought a really nice office chair that was on clearance because of some minor delivery damage (one of the arms is scuffed) and got it for %80 off. I think I paid around $150 for the chair and I haven't ever had any issues. Even my old Wal-Mart brand leather office chair I bought ten years ago for $50 still feels great when I play my consoles.

While I don't lay down, I do on occasion lean back a bit in a reclined position while gaming. I have bad posture so I try not to sit up when I spend lots of time in front of the tv since I will slouch.

All of my computer chairs recline to a point (sometimes to the point where I think I'm going to fall over and I freak out like a little kid) and I'll find myself reclining while using a controller, but if I use my keyboard and mouse, I'm always sitting upright.

I'm always reclining with my feet up when gaming, unless I'm playing a fighter with my joystick. In that instance, I will still have my footrest up but I set my joystick on it and put my legs to the side. I can't play with the joystick sitting on my lap like a lot of people do.

I can recline when gaming, but when I come to a difficult bit, I usually want to sit up straight. I actually us a PC monitor for my consoles, and sit in an office chair when playing my consoles.

I HATE consoles because of the controllers. They are so uncomfortable. My thumbs are so sore in just minutes of play. I wish they made other styles of controllers but it looks like I am stuck on the PC with KB and mouse.

Single player 3rd person games ok with a controller. I played Arkham Asylum with a 360 controller on my PC just fine along with other 3rd person games but I just can't recline while playing with a keyboard and mouse.

Only reason I have consoles and a PC is because of the exclusives. PC is mainly so I can play things maxed out. Most people will be on console for a multiplayer game, depending on the title.

I've had the best buy unlocked membership so even if I buy games new I save $12 on them on average.

My new gpu came with wildlands and I've only played 6 or 7 missions and I haven't gone back to it. It's a huge game and everything is scattered around without and real feel for you to want to continue to see what happens next.

I haven't touched the Xbox one in close to a year. I'll mainly play on the PS4 and the PC. There are some title I prefer on a console compared to PC.

I'm rarely reclining when I play even on my consoles b/c I'm usually playing an MP game, and when I try to relax I get pwned and sit right back up.. lol.

well it has been a month with just PS4 pro gaming and i am loving it. Do not miss pc gaming at all. Since i got the ps4 on May 14 i have played thru The last of Us and the Uncharted 1-2-3 collection. Currently working my way thru Uncharted 4. What a great game. I have Windows 10 on a 256g SSD + 2g Seagate HD for data. But the disks sit in an anti-static bag in storage. I am running Linux Mint 18.1 Mate on the pc installed on a Seagate Firecuda.

I think with the ps4 pro - the Nintendo Switch and the soon to be release Xbox Scorpio, those will seal the deal for exclusive console gaming for me. Do not have the Switch yet mainly due to them being hard to find in stock currently.
