TS2 + PF and RO:O problem

Hey folks,
My friend is having computer problems and the first geniouses that came to mind was the (mostly) friendly anandtech community. I've never seen anything like this before in TeamSpeak but maybe someone here has since the population's so big. My best bet is the games are eating the output that TS uses but that's with very little actual knowledge anywho, enough of my babbling.

I'm having a strange problem with TS. When I launch certain games (only PF [Pacific Fighters] and RO: O[Red Orchestra]), all TS sounds are muted. When I speak everyone else can still hear me, but I can't hear anyone else. When I exit the game, everything returns to normal. I've tried switching on and off the voice chat settings in RO, but neither setting does anything. I've also tried switching off EAX, hardware audio acceleration, and just about every other setting in RO.

I've already posted a thread in the TS forum and asked in the #Teamspeak IRC channel on Quakenet, but neither have been helpful. I post here on the off chance that someone here may have had this problem or heard of it and knows how to solve it.
