Turkey $.40lb Walmart

Frozen whole turkey limit 2 per customer $.40 per pound.

That's certainly the cheapest I've seen.

There's only 2 of us so I try to get them to cut the turkey in half lengthwise when I buy them to eat at any time besides Thanksgiving. Not all stores will do it.

Kroger has them for $0.67 and that's after a required $20 purchase. I usually try to shop at the local Kroger since it's closer and they give great in-store coupons and generally good sales, but I think Walmart will get it this year.

I believe Bakers has a Jennie-O turkey for about $0.39 a lb also... at least in the Omaha area. Just another option for a cheap bird.

And here I thought $.40/lb was a great price - at least it is here. So far nobody else is less than $.69. Glad to see other areas have cheap options as well.

Got one this morining. 12 lbs 4 oz $4.90. I'm happy.

Edit: on second thought, don't go to Albertson for your Turkey. Apparently their Ad is a tad misleading. To qualify you have to purhcase $25min, use the $10 coupon and purchase EXACTLY a 14lb turkey, of which they have none of. Thus you end up paying .99c/lb with card or 1.29 w/o card. Pretty shady imo. I even had help picking out the turkey and the service guy didn't even bother telling me. I'm so pissed at the scam I'm returning all of what I can from the purchase. Walmart here I come

Crazy. Turkey usually drops as low as .19 a lb. Last year I bought early so I paid .39 for a butterball and I wasnt happy.

albertsons still exists? it became luckys here.

do regular walmarts have this? or just super walmarts? my local one doesn't have much of a food section, let alone freezers so not sure how it would work.
