I have used logitech one, its not as good as rowmote pro. Though rowmote is mac only... its my most used app for controlling plex, hulu desktop, vlc etc.

How is it useful? My laptop already has a trackpad (that works better than the phone) and my desktop has an excellent wireless mouse that will track on any surface. I tried it, the novelty was neat but ultimately it's not really useful.

If you're not close enough to your computer to be able to use your keyboard/mouse. It's like a remote. Yeah the cursor is kind of small but it's still good for a 10' interface.

I use my main rig for a htpc on my LCD tv. When I'm on my couch I'm out of range for my mouse to work. Would this be something useful to me? What's the cost and links to product would be nice.

its free, and i use it as a temporary KB/Mouse until i get a new wireless set for my new HTPC. it works very well, for being free. best of all, the computer program is very small and u barely even notice its there.

i agree but you should try snatch, it has premade remotes, and you can program your own remotes. Much better than a wireless mouse or keyboard. But, It also has mouse keyboard if needed. http://www.hoofien.com/Snatch/

You can control the volume, seeking, opening closing etc, without looking at the screen or for a cursor.

XMBC also has a cool remote program. It does things a bit different but still very cool. It connects to xbmc server (that runs when xbmc runs) and lists all stuff you added to xbmc.
