Yeah, I got in on the Amazon deal for this sound card. Very nice card. I like it a lot. Only reason I would choose an Audigy over the Santa Cruz is that the Audigy has a firewire port. I didn't really need that, but I kept thinking that I might in the future.... Oh well.

I paired my TBSC with a pair of Logitech Z-340's that I picked up at Office Depot for about $30. Target had them recently for $24.99. Great little 2.1 setup IMO.

Check that same email, it has a link to the account.

I checked the email and no mention of msn was there... just my credit card info... curious... I set up a passport account with them and I can login to msn wallet and all so my account should be working no? did I need to sign up for a special msn rewards account?

First off, thank you corinthos very much for this deal. MSN offer expires in a couple of hours I guess, so it was just in time.
I didn't know what MSN was but I figured it out pretty quick. I don't know how long the process takes for you to be able to see this in your MS hotmail or other MS accounts but at the purchase page there is a button for you to click on to purhase through MS Wallet.

If you click on that button, your credit crad information is retreived from your MS wallet account so I don't understand where the confusion is.
I mean, if you had to enter you credit card info manually, instead of it being automatically retrieved from MS Wallet, then maybe id didn't go through.

This is the absolute highest I would be willing to pay for a sound card since I was going to put it in one of those new nForce2 mobos and the sound there is good enough, I thought.

Anyone know where you can get actual specs of nForce2 mobo sound for comparison with Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. probably not. (I looked through those pdfs.)



P.S.
There are no updated drivers at their web site so I'm guessing we should just go with the regular drivers that come on the retail CD, right?

Got mine yesterday at the Kennewick, WA store. Santa Cruz for $29.99 after mir is a great deal. Also picked up the Monsoon Planar Media 9 speakers for $79.99 on sale. Using the TB Santa Cruz card with the Altec Lansing AVS 500 to enable surround sound for gaming. The Monsoons are currently running on an old Turtle Beach Montego II, my boys are begging for a better sound card for the Monsoons. Have to keep my eyes open, I guess.
