Man, they screwed up the "This is Us" promo before it started where I am. They sold it as some overly-emo show. Now that I'm seeing episode promos, it looks interesting. And I looked up the Wiki for the show, sounds much more interesting than what it was sold as.

To me it looked like just another version of NBC's show "Parenthood". I already saw some episodes of that show, so didn't think watching "This is Us" was necessary.

Doesn't look like The Exorcist will make it, it is getting downright creepy, but, not in the way you think.
They got a old guy (aka the demon) always groping the cute "teen" daughter (Hannah Kasulka), then a full on tongue sucking kiss that lasted forever... and then she pisses on the floor after "nailing" the guy on the subway with her hands.

This should have been on FX, and have better writers.

I didn't see a dedicated thread on this show, but, just finished watching the finale, and... they need to stick a fork in it, but it seems it still has a chance for it being renewed?
Really don't get how they pick which shows stay and which goes.
This one had low ratings, poor writing, and a season finale that was a dud.

Shows are back quick after the break. Late night came back Tuesday. NCIS and 2 Broke Girls were back early in the week already.

There's some new show on tonight with a 2 hour premiere: Emerald City.

I've seen no advertising on this -- don't think anyone in Canada picked it up and I don't see American commercials that often. Still, seems like a DOA show.
