Come to think of it, it reminds me of another TV show with the same kind of a super rich guy that uses technology to "help", that was in a hospital, this was in a police district, they both blow it, and rinse & repeat.
That one died early as well.

yep, I finally watched episode 1 of APB tonight. VERY poorly done...in typical Fox fashion.

Man... we used to get that station in Canada. They blew their load when they got the rights to CSI in syndication and reran the Grissom-era episodes non-stop. I saw every episode from the first 5 or so seasons numerous times on Spike. I think they had car chase or dash cam compilation shows too.

Glad to see I am not the only one to think "APB" and "Pure Genius" are mirror images. So many of the new shows resemble one another, very little originality left. Seen "Ransom" or "Conviction"?
Guess its like the old story that there are really only 8(?) jokes in the world.

Pure Genius, I kind of liked. It wasn't GREAT, but it was OK...The main character, the way he did the part, always seemed like "Walter O'Brien discovers medicine."

APB does seem to suck it long and suck it hard. There have to be some more novel series out there to syndicate so why recycle the same Lawyer Cop, MD crap over and over again. I understand that procedurals are the tv equivalent of comfort food but throw some habaneros in there or something to spice it up, give it an edge. Sure, everybody loves some mac and cheese but not 5 nights a week.

Thing is, it could have been a good show, but the lead cast, aka "rich guy" just makes you want to hate him, along with some of the other cast members and the forced "jokes".
I also don't get why they don't have a fleet of drones/cameras keeping track of everything, and on police chases, why don't the drones fire shots to disable the vehicles?
Yeah, instead they have motorcycles with self-deploying spike strips.
/me sticks a fork in this show.

Damn.. I've been afraid of looking their ratings up. Unless the CW picks it up, it's dead.

And Lucifer, what the hell. I just looked up IMDB for season 2 and it says the show isn't returning until May then goes to almost July. Thought it was March.

it's not great...it's not really even good...but it's fun to watch.

I've enjoyed it. It's basically just another buddy cop show. It really wouldn't even have to be "lethal weapon" aside from how they delve into his wife's history.

Sci-fi has decided against continued Incorporation.

Amazon has been eating their spinach, they will continue to show their Fortitude

And don't Doubt this, it won't be back in any meaningful way.

Incorporated wasn't bad. I could have seen that going a second season. It wasn't really flashy enough I don't think for what a general audience expects from scifi. They're looking more for things like The Expanse and Dark Matter. There was some interesting tech in the show but I guess it wasn't enough to really wet peoples' chops.

Fortitude was just an amazing, crazy, bizarre joy ride of a show. I'm really looking forward to the next season. I did think they could have done a better job of tying things together at the end but I'll give them until the beginning of next season before I really bitch about anything.

edit: oops. Just checked and the second season has been out for a month? WTF, how did I miss that. OK, binge time. Good thing I don't have plans for tomorrow.

That 'most excellent show' that nobody has even seen yet has been renewed!
FX has renewed Ryan Murphy’s Feud TV show for a second season.
(March 5th is the premiere).

Don't think I have seen that done too often.
