Bull I did not like. There wasn't anybody really likeable. It also really reminded me of a Dr Phil show, which makes sense since it's supposed to be based on the life of Dr Phil. I hate Dr Phil.

Just finished watching Bull... and, it just didn't click with me. Nobody on the show is likeable, as you said, and I had to force myself to keep watching it until the end, in case it got better--it didn't.

Not sure I will bother DVRing this again...

From the commercials I can't really see what the plot of that show is going to be. Her getting used to being in heaven? Becoming a guardian angel, something like Quantum Leap?

Dead person let into "the good place" but shouldn't have been allowed in.

I liked The Good Place despite the fact that I don't really like any of the actors, especially Ted Danson. It wasn't hilariously funny but it wasn't paint-by-numbers predictable at least. That counts for a lot where I'm concerned. Maybe it will end up going that way, but I thought the first episode was encouraging.

I like the girl's character a lot even if I don't like the actress. She's kind of a loser who's just said fk it, I'm going to do whatever I want and if you don't like it, eat me. I think I sort of aspire to be that way but growing up down south they get you real young with that politeness and consideration shit.

Is this on PBS yet? I was looking for it on Sundays a few weeks back and couldn't find it, they're almost done over in Britain showing this.

And I really thought that was a one-time mini-series.

For those of you that saw the (horrible) preview of Van Helsing SyFy episode a few months back, now, they have the first two episodes back-2-back and with really weird run times.

I don't see this show getting renewed at all, not even sure it will survive past a few episodes if the preview was anything like how the series is.
It is another reboot with a female Van Helsing.

I'm really enjoying "Atlanta" so far...

I'm surprised by this show. The previews of it made me think it was a completely different show. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Looks like Showtime cancelled Roadies already...after one season. It wasn't very good.

That show really disappointed me. I really was expecting it to be much more interesting. I've worked in a arena type place before, and found roadies to be really interesting people. I'm not sure why they went the direction they did, but it really did suck. It also didn't help that the love interest they started the show with had no chemistry together at all. I kept hoping they'd move on from it, but they double downed with the other two towards the end. It's such a shame.

They really did a good job duplicating the cheesiness and bad special effects from the 80's version of the show. That's not really a good thing, though.

It's definitely easy to see that Cameron Crowe was behind it. The melodrama that really isn't needed... There was so much potential for the show, but you are right, there was zero chemistry in the first 'love interest'. Actually, there wasn't much chemistry in any of the show. Wes was by far the best character on the show. They could spin-off with just him and it would be far more interesting.

Yeesh, it's becoming harder to believe NBC had the best network comedies for years.

Rosewood & Pitch were both meh.
Don't see these getting picked up for another season.

The Exorcist, I am on the fence, need to see another 2-3 episodes before I can say it is a dud as well.

Him, phil and the security guy was what I would have expected to see more of. Oddballs like them are the type of people I think of when I think of the Roadies I've known. The fact they went more with the band's stories rather than the Roadies themselves was telling. Oddly enough I think that Wes and his sister were the only real chemistry on the show. The rest just didn't mix like I would have expected them to.
