I didn't realize it until just today, and don't see it mentioned in this thread. WGN's Manhattan, a fictionalized drama about the Manhattan project, was cancelled after two seasons. I thought this series was really well done, so if you get a chance to see it, highly recommended. There were 13 episodes in season 1, and 10 in season 2.

Ok. Don't really see why there's a need for multiple threads for this topic, but whatever. TV shows today often go a season or two before being renewed again and a final decision is made, or another network picks them up.

It was meh. Renewing it this fast is pretty premature, as they advertised the fuck out of it. The twist at the end of the first episode really piqued interest/discussion online but it's a one trick pony. I can only see it declining in ratings and getting canceled after this season.

On a personal BOO, the Signs are dim for Aquarius. Not unexpected as they shipped it to Saturday night and did a bunch of double episodes.


A shame they just got to the point of the murders and as someone that never really ready about the events, they had a bunch oh historically similar stuff that I found interesting.

The plan is to end Archer after season 10. I don’t know that anybody has talked about that, but that is definitely my plan to do 8, 9 and 10 — and they’re gonna be each shorter seasons of just eight episodes — and then wind it up. I was gonna end it after 8, but then I had sort of a brain explosion of a way that I could do three more seasons and really keep my interest up. So the three seasons that are coming up are gonna be pretty different from what has come before, and they’re gonna be different from each other.”

Saw the episode of MacGuyver all the way through... Then watched Hawaii-Five-O. MacGuyver feels really low budget. I know it's in its first season so budget is limited but I don't remember Hawaii-Five-O feeling this cheap, or being shot on a Hawaii island just looks better.

Not feeling McGuyver. I wasn't a fan of the original show, so I don't have any ingrained fondness for it. Acting seems sub-par as does the writing.

Rosewood has never been "great," but it was watchable. This season seems...less than last season.

Pitch seems way too formulaic for my tastes. Not a fan...but I'll probably give it another episode or two before I dump it.

Yep, now with the impending reboot of Magnum PI, it's a sad thing when "Hollywood" doesn't have enough imagination to come up with "new" shows, but rather just keeps re-inventing old shows. (much like the movie industry)
