Come to Canada. I turned on the CBC a few weeks ago at about 9 pm and before I got any picture (you know how tvs do that...) I heard:

"HOLY FVCK! WHAT THE FVCK ARE YOU DOING HERE??? GET THE FVCK OUT OF MY ROOM!!!"

They were showing Dogma, completely uncut.

They also edited out the reference to Christ made by someone else (I'm drawing a blank right now though). The lobby scene is no more violent than anything else you see on tv - they just edited out the "gory" parts - actually showing guys getting shot point blank (the end where Neo gets an entire clip emptied into him, Trinity blows away the agent on the roof)

I think after 8 PM, as far as the FCC is concerned, pretty much anything goes on broadcast TV. I don't understand why FOX (of all netwroks) butchered this movied like they did.

Exactly. What's cool is the voice they dub in always sounds soo much like the actor. That's why I don't watch network tv anymore. Well, that and the fact that everything on network tv has already been on hbo/starz/dvd for half a dozen years already...

Go to europe and you can see naked people on the Television(Tele for our Englanders). We americans are afraid that sex / swearing is not good.

We will have sex mostly cuz its against the "rules" and/or bored. Well at least initally.
