Yep VERY hot deal I have a Deluxe and it is GREAT!!! The Expert has a bit better recording quality and the regluar is the same as the deluxe but does not have a remote.

The expert encodes better then the deluxe and is worth the little extra.

It doesnt play TV better tho. only encodes better

yep, expert is worth the extra bucks over the deluxe, BUT the hauppage is even better (i have the expert, then got the hauppage 250....it allows you to do stuff on the computer without messing recordings up).

If you are going to do recordings I would get the expert for $10 more. I think its worth it. I record everyonce in awhile and the quality is good but the Experts it a bit better.

The ATI model can be had for $5 AR at the moment. If all you want to do is watch TV on your computer and don't want a remote, it works just swell for that purpose.

Yes you can do stuff while the cards are encoding. The quality gets a little bit miffed though. Only time I really notice much is if I am using Prime 95 or something that is hard drive entensive. Surfing the net or something is no problem though. I am actually pretty sure the flaws don't show up in the recordings but im not positive I will check it out when I get out of work tonight.

no, theres no digital card. To get digital cable, you need a box . At least AFAIK.
