Question TWC email address

My uncle uses a twc.com email address. TWC has been Spectrum for a while now. He does currently have spectrum service. Is it possible to lose access to the twc email even if he keeps spectrum service?

Clarify. As long as he meets whatever requirements are necessary, and the company keeps the servers going, he should be able to continue using it.

TWC, Time Warner Cable was bought by Charter communications, which Spectrum is a brand of. Obviously the twc servers are still going but wasn't sure if there was any plans of shutting down. I have a twc email address myself, don't really use for anything anymore. I could have swore a while back when I went to login to it, it said something about not being available anymore after a certain date or something like that. But I don't see that now and can still login fine.

You'd have to contact Charter to know for sure, but it isn't difficult aliasing addresses to a new address. IOW, even though twc may no longer be valid for new signups, they can keep it going for old accounts with no cost or difficulty on their part.

I have a 22 year old chartermi.net email address. They eliminated those 16 or 17 years ago. Still works fine. Supposedly when they dropped adding the state intials to the end, those accounts would all be switched to charter.com.
When they tried to do this, they failed miserably, and so the accounbt remains. Even though all new accounts are spectrum.net.

In other words, I don't think you have anything to worry about, it should work fine.

I have a few TWC accounts, they'd most likely send a warning email a few months in advance if they dropped the domain.
