The former, Elite: Dangerous, is worth noting as it's the first time the company has released a new driver the concentrates on a crowdfunded game like this. Elite: Dangerous isn't some massive AAA title like Call of Duty or Battlefield, but to the fans, it is. It's great to see NVIDIA releasing a driver ready for Elite: Dangerous. MGS V: Ground Zeroes on the other hand, we have full support for it with NVIDIA explaining "ensures you'll have the best possible gaming experience for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Elite: Dangerous."

Nice to see some profiles already ready.:thumbsup:

NEW DRIVERS HERE (OR BETA DRIVERS)

HDMI issue fix included in this driver
You may remember that earlier this week we called attention to a longstanding issue where Nvidia cards outputting through HDMI were being locked into limited RGB instead of full RGB. The problem didn't affect all displays, just those categorized under "Ultra HD, HD, SD" in the Nvidia Control Panel. The new driver finally fixes the problem, offering a toggle for Limited or Full RGB on the Desktop Color Settings menu

Sometimes, if we yell loud enough, companies actually listen to us.
Yay.

These drivers are amazing! Tried Dragon Age Inquisition and AC Unity and both are showing performance gains, especially AC Unity.
With AC Unity, I'm at 60 FPS LOCKED with V-sync on, even in congested areas. With V-sync off, I'm getting around 72 FPS average with frame rate going into the high 70s and low 80s at times..

People on Guru3d are reporting 10 FPS gains in AC Unity with these drivers. Looks like they are a major branch revision, so I highly recommend them for NVidia users..

I wonder if these drivers will be the ones to increase Kepler's performance?

Cool, thanks.

Now let me see if they added sli support for Lara Croft Osiris and The Talos Principle.

Good news on the Nvidia front. I downloaded for both of my Nvidia rigs and they work well.

Ok excuse me but I am not happy with the support Nvidia is giving my Fermi cards.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and The Talos Principle still are not supported by SLI.

Moreover, I did a quick test on Assassin's Creed Unity.

A few days back, I have tested both my 570s and 5850s on this game, both with the older drivers (spicy wallpaper alert).

ASSASSIN'S CREED UNITY CUSTOM 1920X1080 RADEON 5850 @950Mhz Q9550 @4GHz

ASSASSIN'S CREED UNITY CUSTOM 1920X1080 GTX 570 @850Mhz CORE i7 860 @3.9GHz

The settings I had used for the 5850 were Environment Ultra High, textures at low, shadows high, SSAO, AA disabled, bloom on.

Now on the 570 I had used lower settings (by mistake, which I only now saw) with the environment being at very high, not ultra.

Now even with this discrepancy, the 5850 scored 22fps while the 570 only scored 19fps.

Here is a side by side as synced as possible so you can see the difference.

(that is goo gl that leads to youtube doubler-the forum blocked it)

This handicap occurs because the GTX 570 is not maxing out its gpu load. Not even close. I thought it was the framebuffer but a subscriber of mine has the 2.5GB models and he is getting the same crap. Moreover the 5850 has less vram and runs better with higher settings, so it is not it.

SLI is even worse. It gave 15fps with the same settings as the single card. Negative scaling.

So for now I am just going to wish that this is because of the game itself and not the driver and that the new patch will fix this. Come to think of it, it's a real pity. If non maxed out 570 can run it at 20fps, if you add the maxing out and the sli it should go above 50fps, not 15.

I am getting artifacts in DA:I with this driver, had to revert to WHQL one ( I'm on GTX780). And it is kinda sad, cause i was getting excited about some 5FPS boost which in turn would probably enable me to increase graphic settings even more.

Is this a common problem or just one instance. Downloaded the drivers yesterday, but have not installed them yet. (And have a 780)

Beware these drivers, they can brick Windows 7 just like the 980 launch drivers when you are running another display off of Intel integrated graphics (blank screen on startup with no way around it). Fortunately, after loading an old system restore point and then performing startup repair on that, I'm up and running again.

I swear though, every time I update Nvidia drivers it feels like I'm taking my PC's life into my hands. On my setup half the time they crash during install too (most likely due to the fact that if I try to disable Nvidia surround my PC crashes every time), which is also really scary. Get your house in order Nvidia driver team

You should email them with a bug report- your configuration sounds pretty unusual, so they may just not be aware there's a bug.

I've tried talking to Nvidia support in the past, and they've been absolutely useless. Right now I just hope that when the 390X comes out it gives me a good enough reason to upgrade. The sooner I get away from Nvidia and their terrible system wrecking drivers the better.

Describe your system, number of monitors, in what configuration and method of connection to your pc.

These drivers at first glance seem to greatly improve Far Cry 4 performance. The stuttering is mostly eliminated, and my framerates have gone up somewhere in the 15% range it would seem.
