Tweeter Customer apperciate days! today is the last day

Tweeter, a mid to high end eletronic chain www.tweeter.com. is having a customer apperication sales 5/21 to 5/22. Everything will be
marked down, except Bose, and some mitsubishi diamond series TV. I am not sure if you have to show the letter that you get in the mail to get the unadveristed prices. The best thing to do is call the store and tell the salesperson that you got a letter in the mail, and get the price quote first, then once you are in the store, just tell them that you forgot to bring the letter with you. Good lcuk! I might get an Eclipse headunit for my car, this brand rarely go on sale.

but the downside is that they have WAY INFLATED prices...

unless this sale is like 25%-50% off, it's useless...

tweeter is a very good store, high end stuff is right, if you dont think so then you're the one on crack. Macintosh units arent found everywhere.

HAHA thats because they didnt let you go into their high-end rooms, where they display brands like Proceed, B&amp;K, Sonus Faber, etc...If you call these brands LOW_FI, I wonder what do you use in your house? I am in agreement citizen.

I negotiated a price that was %10 off their price.
Then I found another store that offered %20 off Tweeter's price
with no hassle. OK, well there was a hassle when I tried to
get them to go even lower.... but...

BTW: Tweeter turned Douglas TV and United Audio into Tweeter dumps in the Chicago area.

Chicago SW suburbs:
If you are looking for high end Mits TVs: Toton's or Grants are
great. Other electronics: Grants (Joliet IL) is great. Good prices and you can negotiate even further.

Yep, Tweeter has some really high-end products at vastly inflated prices, but that's par for the course. You might find great prices low-end and middle of the road stuff, but the real elite names are almost always jacked up pretty high. Anyone spending $10,000 on a pair of speakers really isn't too concerned if they're $10,000 or $10,500.

Got a pair of Klipsch rear speakers at one of these Customer Appreciation days a few years back...think they were around 20-25% off regular price. Also, this place will not only price match but negotiate a lower price if you really try. Do anything you can to make the other deal look better and they'll work their price down.
