twin power LEDs

I was thinking that I could install two LEDs in parallel on the Power Header of the motherboard.

My IDE Activity header doesn't work anymore, but the LED is still good.

Can anyone think of any problems with doing this?

Overloading the mobos header. This is exactly what Thermaltake warns users not to do with their Coolmod product.

Overload? What level of current can those LED headers put out?

Typical operating current of an LED is about 20-25 ma. Thermaltake fans can pull 300-500ma from the header. Plus, the LEDs should already have a dropping resistor on the mobo to limit current. The only problem might be that you will only have half the current available for each if you use 2 LEDs. 10ma may not produce a very bright LED.
