Crazy. Heard of just one child being born not black.
But a set of twins?

I am not surprised. A show on the Discovery Channel explained that this can happen... albeit a bit rare.

It's not that he's not black.. he's just not as dark skinned. He definitely looks like he has some darkness to his skin color though.

Actually they both look black one just has lighter skin. Reminds me of that old Saturday night live episode where the light skinned black guy was telling the dark skinned black guy that he was the superior race because he was a lighter shade of brown.:laugh: Dang I wish I could find that on youtube. I've looked time and again with no luck.

I think being Black is more about the physical shape of their bodies rather than just dark skin. A lot of Indians and Middle Eastern folks are extremely dark but we wouldn't call them Black. If the second twin was born with European features (chin, nose, lips, hair, etc.) than it would be amazing. A difference in skin tone, however improbable, is not the same.

Pigment of the skin is amazing. I had an African American professor in college....she showed me a picture of her niece. She looked like the Swiss Miss girl.....was blonde with blue eyes. Her brother had dark eyes and dark skin...

I learned right there that you can have recessive genes that come out at any time.
